Schitt’s Creek Finale- Cabaret – “Willkommen” – Jeff Dimitriou Choreography
Jeff Dimitriou Choreography
It takes a village to create film and television magic. I was surrounded by a wonderful team of assistants that I truly trust and help make my job easier.
This was truly a magical journey.
It was an intensive rehearsal schedule for all involved. The cast were being transported between rehearsals and set to continue filming, while my team and I were busy working out the vocabulary.
Fo those who don’t know: We call this team in the dance industry a skeleton crew. This team is provided for the choreographer to develop the vocabulary for the piece. Much like a musician needs his instruments to compose. It’s the same for choreographers. The exception being is that we use our skeleton crew as our instruments.
As the piece progressed
, and with Dan’s direction included we found just the perfect combination of energy that made sense for the characters and scene.
