This film series is based on the radio program “The Whistler” that aired on the CBS radio network from May 16, 1942 until September 22, 1955.
Plot : A woman uses a deck of cards to predict death within 24 hours for a stranger sitting at a bar, then tries to help him remember who he is based on items in his pockets.
