Kennedy To Communist Party, USSR ~ You’ve Got Mail

CNS News
There’s a new book on Ronald Reagan making the rounds, The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism. Its author, Paul Kengor, unearthed a sensational document from the Soviet archives.
That document is a memo regarding an offer made by Sen. Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts via former Senator John Tunney, both Democrats, to the General Secretary of the Communist Party, USSR, Yuri Andropov, in 1983.
The offer was to help the Soviet leadership, military and civilian, conduct a PR campaign in the United States as President Ronald Reagan sought re-election.
The goal of the PR campaign would be to cast President Reagan as a warmonger, the Soviets as willing to peacefully co-exist, and thereby turn the electorate away from Reagan. It was a plan to enlist Soviet help, and use the American press, in unseating an American president.

Wild Thing’s comment…….
So this little ole KGB letter written at the height of the Cold War shows that Sen. Edward Kennedy offered to assist Soviet leaders in formulating a public relations strategy to counter President Reagan’s foreign policy and to complicate his re-election efforts. Amazing, not surprising but ever so typical of the left and of Kennedy.
This is NOT the American way of doing things, but it sure as heck is the Democrat way!

Rhod says:

I believe it, because it’s impossible to overestimate the wickedness of a psychopath like Kennedy. He isn’t crazy; that’s something else. He came into the world without a conscience, and a vile and evil need to dominate and prevail. He lacks a capacity for normal human behavior. He’s dirt, pure and simple.
Most of the Kennedys were this way by degrees, the old man being the worst, and Rose was a spiritless, pseudo-religious sewer trout in a league of her own. This makes you understand why the Brits did everything they could through tax policy and other means to grind the artistocracy under the public heel. They eliminated lots of good people at the same time, but they washed grease like Ted Kennedy from the scene.
Then you have Skakel, and Joseph Smith and Patrick Kennedy and the rest. It’s a poisoned gene pool. One of us here knew one of Ted’s kids not long ago. Take it from us. The beat goes on.

Billy says:

There is a tremendous site at ytedk.com
It has been up for a few years and is basically dedicated to the Chappaquiddick incident. What most people think they know is that TED killed some girl when he drove off a bridge while he was a little drunk yada yada yada. The whole true story is far more damning and can be researched pretty thoroughly at that web site. Additionally, it shows the lengths Kennedy will go to to save his skin. A quality he displays even today.
A great many people don’t know the depths of Mr. Kennedy’s perverted character. This newest revelation about trying to circumvent Reagan’s foriegn policy is a real yawnwer only as a result of the fact that it was perpetrated by TED. You EXPECT it out of him. I saw this come across the wire the other day and wondered if it would get any traction. My guess is it doesn’t get much past the blogs. Nice catch Wild Thing, this would have been easy to miss.

BobF says:

It’s beyond my comprehension on how this Masterpiece of Depravity gets reelected to the senate.
We all remember Chappaquiddick but how about the young woman who was raped, by his nephew, in his house while he was at home. No woman is safe when they are alone with the Kennedy’s, just ask Marilyn.

Rhod says:

Bob, to understand the re-election of Kennedy, over and over, is to understand the power of ethnicity and religion in Massachusetts. It trumps everything. I live nearby, I’m closely related in terms of background (but not religon) and recognize the impulses in myself.
When we worry about the failure of Mexicans to assimilate, and their power to create voting blocs, we forget that we’ve had dozens in this country for centuries. The one in Massachusetts is Irish Catholic, and if that is un-PC, tough.

Wild Thing says:

Rhod,I agree with you.
When I was in my first year in school at Briar Cliff in New York. I met one of the Kennedy’s. His name was Patrick, not the one you mentioned… another one.
As he was asking me out, I asked him what is your name? Because like most at that age he only said his first name. When he said Kennedy, I said are you related to JFK and the family? He said yes, he was a nephew. I told him no thanks I did not date anyone connected to the Kennedy clan. hahahaha
He looked so surprised, I guess he had never been turned down for that reason before. giggle

Wild Thing says:

Thanks Billy
Your right I bet only the Blogs will discuss this and not the news channels.

Wild Thing says:

Bob,I met a man when working in Hollywood that is a columinist for papers across the country. He write or wrote about actors etc. Not sure if he still does this or not. He would be fairly old by now.
We became friends over time. He told me things he could never write about in regards to the Kennedy’s and Marilyn and her death. I can only say you are right, there is a definite connection between her death and the Kennedy’s and also Peter Lawford. Scary stuff, very scary stuff.
As far as why they keep voting for Kennedy. It is just like other places that keep voting for known communists, all of those belonging to the “Progressive Party” that are in our government. Once I found out about that I was so shocked it took me awhile to let it sink in that it existed in my America.
Funny story. Nick was working on a TV show, “Spencer for HIre” in Boston. I always went with him when he traveled for work. While he was off doing his stunts for the show, I called and got a Town Car to take me around the city.
The Town Car driver kept going on and on as he drove pointing out this buidling and that building being a Kennedy this and that. I took all I could stand and then said…
“Look I hired a Town Car for today not a Kennedy zombie, so please I am not interested in Kennedy and what he owns around here.”
He was shocked, I could see his face in the rear view mirror. His eyes opened so big and his jaw dropped. Then he asked me why.
I told him what I thought of Kennedy and all the Kennedy’s leaving nothing out. hahahha I did it in the nicest way I could, not yelling or anything just in a matter of fact way. heh heh
The day went ok after that and I had a great time at Faneuil Hall Market Place. hahaha

Rhod says:

WT, if the spent some time at Faneuil Hall Market, you might have purchased some of John Kerry’s cookies and muffins. Yeah, Tuh-ray-zuh sold is his cookies and muffins…no, seriously, I can’t recall the name of the company. It isn’t Kerry’s Cookies, but there’s a shop there.

Rhod says:

…sad about Robert Urich, isn’t it?

Wild Thing says:

Rhod on nooooooo, I did buy cookies. yikes!!!!
Yes it is very sad about Robert Urich, he was really a nice person.

Nick Byram says:

Sadly, this news isn’t new; a decade ago, former Soviet ambassador Anatoly Dobrynin actually wrote about this at length in his memoirs. But any attempt to bring this into the forefront again is always welcome. We can never forget what the Demunist Commiecrats have become.
