Former Black Panther DEMOCRAT Bobby Rush’s New GUN Bill

Movie “Red Dawn” about Russia attacking America.

“In our time, no foreign army has ever occupied American soil. ”

Big Brother’s new target: Tracking of all firearms
‘This is nothing less than a declaration of war on American gun owners’
wnd
By Drew Zahn
U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush, D-Ill., is hoping to pass a firearm-licensing bill that will significantly rewrite gun-ownership laws in America.
Among the more controversial provisions of the bill are requirements that all handgun owners submit to the federal government a photo, thumb print and mental heath records. Further, the bill would order the attorney general to establish a database of every handgun sale, transfer and owner’s address in America.

The bill claims its purpose is “to protect the public against the unreasonable risk of injury and death associated with the unrecorded sale or transfer of firearms to criminals and youth.”

Columnist David Codrea of Guns Magazine, however, calls it a “ridiculous affront to liberty.”

“This is nothing less than a declaration of war on American gun owners,” Codrea writes on Gun Rights Examiner.

Rush’s proposed bill, H.R. 45, is alternatively known as “Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009,” named after an Illinois teenager killed by a gunshot.

According the bill’s text, “On the afternoon of May 10, 2007, Blair Holt, a junior at Julian High School in Chicago, was killed on a public bus riding home from school when he used his body to shield a girl who was in the line of fire after a young man boarded the bus and started shooting.”

The bill then argues that interstate firearm trafficking and children dying from gun violence create legitimate cause for the federal government to monitor gun ownership and transfers in new ways.
If passed, the bill would make it illegal to own or possess a “qualifying firearm” – defined as any handgun or any semiautomatic firearm that takes an ammunition clip – without a “Blair Holt” license.
To obtain a “Blair Holt” license, an application must be made that includes a photo, address, all previous aliases, thumb print, completion of a written firearm safety test, release of mental health records to the attorney general and a fee not to exceed $25.
Further, the bill makes it illegal to transfer ownership of a qualifying firearm to anyone who is not a licensed gun dealer or collector. Exceptions to this rule include transfer to family members by gift or bequest and loans, not to exceed 30 days, of a firearm for lawful purposes “between persons who are personally known to each other.”
The bill also requires qualifying firearm owners to report all transfers to the attorney general’s database. It would also be illegal for a licensed gun owner to fail to record a gun loss or theft within 72 hours or fail to report a change of address within 60 days.
And if a minor obtains a weapon and injures someone with it, the owner of the gun – if deemed to have failed to meet certain safety requirements – faces a multiple-year jail sentence.
H.R. 45 is a resurfacing of 2007’s H.R. 2666, which contained much of the same language and was co-sponsored by 15 other representatives and Barack Obama’s current chief of staff, Rahm Emmanuel. H.R. 2666 was assigned to the House Judiciary committee, where no action was taken.
H.R. 45 currently has no co-sponsors and is likewise assigned to the House Judiciary committee.

Wild Thing’s comment………
The fact that this Bobby “Everything White Is Racist” Rush, a former black panther, his constituency has no intention of following these laws. This is a blatant attempt to disarm the good guys. It is an attempt to ITENTIFY and CONTROL all handguns in the USA !
The only reason anybody has for taking your gun away is to make you weaker than he is, so he can do something to you that you wouldn’t allow him to do if you were equipped to prevent it.
Like in the movie “red Dawn”, noting what it is that separates the group on the inside of the wire from the individuals on the outside ……weapons.
The armed thief is secure in the knowledge that all that is yours is his for the taking once he knows your only defense is to ask, “Please, no?”
There is a reason this crop of politicians want—NEED—an unarmed citizenry.

Obama Obsessed With Himself Will Have Inauguration To Air In Theaters

Obama inauguration to air in theaters
NEW YORK
President-elect Barack Obama is on his way to the big screen, thanks to a deal between MSNBC and Screenvision that will put the news channel’s inaugural coverage in 27 theaters around the country.
Free tickets are being handed out via MSNBC.com to see the inauguration and parade from 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. ET at the 27 theaters run by 11 exhibitor partners in 21 markets. Midday Tuesday isn’t necessarily a big movie time, so it helps to fill the theater — and boost popcorn and soda sales — at a time when it’s not usually busy.
That means that Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews and other MSNBC and NBC personalities will play the big movie screen in addition to the usual MSNBC cable and satellite stream. MSNBC won’t be in high-definition until the second quarter, but both the channel and Screenvision say the quality will still be high.

“It’ll look great,” MSNBC president Phil Griffin said. “We’re thrilled about it.”

Screenvision was approached by MSNBC last year about carrying the coverage in some of the same theaters that take Screenvision’s preroll video, executive vp exhibitor relations Darryl Schaffer said. Since August 2007, Screenvision has had an alternative programming division that has exhibited New York Mets baseball games, operas and other events live via movie theaters. Schaffer said that Screenvision had the capability to do as many as 200 locations, though MSNBC was looking for a smaller event than that.
For MSNBC, it’s a chance to continue the momentum that vaulted it into the fastest-growing channel in all of cable in 2008. That’s the strategy, and Griffin said Monday afternoon to expect more in 2009 to build MSNBC’s brand.

“We want to reach people we’ve never reached before,” Griffin said. “We’re going to do numerous things like that to get our name out there. Ubiquity is the name of the game in 2009.”

Oh my gosh LOOK at this Video!!

At the 1:12 time on the video it has Obama worshipers, OMG this is sooooo sick!and note the insanity right here in the good old U.S.A.
This Documentary will show the organized Obama campaign are using tactics used by evil people throughout history.

.

The Gospel sone in the video that these sick worshipers of Obama have stolen and put his name in it instead is called….”This little light of mine” …………..

I wonder if newsreels will run in the weeks after instead of movie previews. This is just getting to be tooooo much with the Obama adoration/fascination obsession!
Has this country gone completely mad?????

Obama Inaugration Prayers Include Ingrid Mattson With Ties To Muslim Brotherhood

Fox News
At past inaugurations, ceremonial prayers uttered on behalf of the incoming president drew about as much attention as the flags on the podium.
Not this year.
Barack Obama’s choice of clergy is under scrutiny like no other president-elect before him, alternately outraging Americans on the left and the right as he navigates the minefield of U.S. religion.

“I can’t recall any prayers drawing so much attention,” said Charles Haynes, senior scholar at the First Amendment Center who specializes in religion in public life.

Gay advocates assailed Obama, while many conservative Christians were heartened, when he invited the Rev. Rick Warren, a Southern Baptist who opposes gay marriage, to deliver the inaugural invocation on Tuesday.
The tables turned when Obama asked V. Gene Robinson, the first openly gay Episcopal bishop, to lead prayers at Sunday’s kickoff for the inauguration at the Lincoln Memorial. Gay rights groups rejoiced, while some conservative Christians wrung their hands.
The Inauguration Committee has only released one clergy name so far for the Jan. 21 National Prayer Service that caps the inauguration. The Rev. Sharon Watkins, the first woman president of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a Protestant group, will deliver the sermon.
The Associated Press has learned additional details.
A prayer will be offered at the National Cathedral by Ingrid Mattson, the first woman president of the Islamic Society of North America, according to an official who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release the information. The Islamic Society, based in Indiana, is the nation’s largest Muslim group.
Three rabbis, representing the three major branches of American Judaism, will also say a prayer at the service, according to officials familiar with the plans. The Jewish clergy are Reform Rabbi David Saperstein, Conservative Rabbi Jerome Epstein and Orthodox Rabbi Haskel Lookstein, sources said.
It is also traditional for the incoming administration to ask the Roman Catholic archbishop of Washington to lead a prayer. The Most Rev. Donald Wuerl leads the archdiocese.
And like many incoming presidents before him, Obama will attend a service at St. John’s Church, dubbed the “Church of the Presidents,” before his swearing-in.
Religion has been a lightning rod for Obama since the presidential campaign _ from false rumors that he is Muslim to uproar over sermons by his former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
And interest in the inauguration is higher overall, partly because of its historic nature, the swearing-in of the first African-American president. The Rev. Joseph Lowery, a Methodist considered the dean of the civil rights movement, will give the inaugural benediction.

Wild Thing’s comment……..
Hmmmmm weird or what……. a Christian-bashing gay bishop, and now a terrorist added to the program. Obama likes this woman and made sure she was also invited to the DNC convention this last summer.

As ISNA president, Mattson presides over an organization with troubling ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, one of the unindicted co-conspirators in last year’s Hamas terrorism financing case, U.S. v. Holy Land Foundation. In the course of the trial, a Muslim Brotherhood document outlining a strategy for “destroying…Western civilization from within,” making “Allah’s religion…victorious over all other religions,” and listing ISNA, among other allegedly mainstream Muslim-American organizations, as “friends” in this effort came to light.

Mattson has a long history of defending Wahhabism and Sharia law, expressing anti-American and anti-democratic viewpoints, downplaying concerns over Islamic terrorism in the U.S. and worldwide, claiming women’s rights are protected in Islam, besmirching Israel and its “rightwing Christian” supporters, placing loyalty to Islam above loyalty to the U.S., and teaching jihadist literature in her courses.

Compean Finally Speaks From Behind Prison Bars

Compean finally speaks from behind prison bars
Border agent pleads for your help in getting Bush to grant pardons
wnd
Imprisoned Border Patrol agent Jose Compean is finally speaking out from behind bars, asking for America’s help in contacting President Bush for an 11th-hour pardon.
In a letter sent exclusively to WND from the Federal Correctional Institution in Ohio, Compean urged supporters to continue contacting the White House so he and fellow imprisoned agent Ignacio Ramos may reunite with their families before the president leaves office.
His letter says:
I want to thank all of you for your support. The amount of cards and letters I have received has been incredible.
Although our case received attention before we reported to prison, I truly believed people would forget all about us. Once we reported to prison, I was very happy to see how wrong I was. I have received thousands of letters from people all over the country. I have also received letters from other countries such as Italy and even a few from soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.
All of these letters have given me a lot of hope. Knowing that people have been praying for us has also given me a lot of strength. Your prayers have really helped me get through some tough times, especially after the appeals court ruled against us. Reading my mail that night made me feel much better.
I want to apologize to a lot of you. As I said earlier, I have received thousands of letters. When I first started getting them, I was able to respond to all of them. The number of letters increased and it is almost impossible to respond to every one. I wanted to, but I wasn’t able to keep up.
These last two years have been very hard for my family and me. This has affected us in so many different ways. We have lost two years of our lives that we will never get back.
One of the best memories I have is from my visit with Patty, my wife, and our kids last September. We were all sitting down, playing a board game. For the first time in a very long time, it felt like we were a family. It was great.
As Patty told WND, “God will not throw something at you that you cannot handle.”
This has made our family stronger, as well as brought Patty and I much closer. When I feel down or discouraged, I lean on my wife for support. She has done a great job at home with our kids. I am very proud of her, and I love her with all my heart.
Thank you again for everything you have done to help. Words are not enough to express how grateful my family and I are.
I ask that you continue to contact the White House on our behalf these last few days before President Bush leaves office. I also ask that you continue to pray for our families. Hopefully Ignacio and I will be home soon.
God bless you and your families.
Sincerely,
Jose A. Compean

Rep. Duncan D. Hunter (Marine Capt.) Says NO to GITMO Prisoners Coming to Camp Pendleton

Washington Times
Obama after closing Gitmo is considering sending the terrorists scum to Camp Pendleton, San Diego.
Of the 5 congressmen in San Diego, the 3 Republicans are saying Hell No.
Rep. Duncan D. Hunter (Marine Capt.) Bilbray and Issa signed on to Hunter’s letter to Obama.

“Camp Pendleton is a place where we train our Marines and Sailors for combat,” Congressman Hunter wrote in his letter. “It is not a detention facility, nor should it be transformed into one.

Any attempt to accommodate detainees at Camp Pendleton would create an unnecessary distraction for the Marine Corps and interfere with its primary mission, which is to combat terrorism.

“Redirecting these detainees to Camp Pendleton would also present a serious threat to surrounding military installations and resources, as well as the community’s civilian population.

San Diego is not the place to transfer these terror suspects and experiment with new detention procedures. Suspected terrorists should continue being held at Guantanamo Bay, where they can be safely contained,” he said.

Hunter, a Marine combat veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, concluded, “In closing Guantanamo Bay, the incoming Administration would be making a serious mistake and I urge it to reconsider.”
Hunter, who like his father is a member of the House Armed Services Committee, sent a letter this evening to Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates noting that plans to put terrorists in his community, which includes Marine Corp. Base Camp Pendelton, will not be met without a fight.
Camp Pendleton with over 45,000 Marines is the busiest base in the world.

Wild Thing’s comment………
Duncan D. Hunter (Captain, USMC) did 3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. His Dad and Grandfather both served our country as well. I am so glad he is speaking out about this and leading the way on saying NO to prisoners being sent to Camp Pendleton .
LEAVE the terrorists at GITMO, problem solved!

Netanyahu:” Hamas Must Be Toppled”

Netanyahu: Hamas must be toppled
Breitbart
JERUSALEM
Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that Israel must remove Gaza’s Hamas rulers from power to ensure victory over “terror.”
He expressed full support for his country’s punishing, 18-day offensive against the militants—even though it is being conducted by politicians who are running against him in Feb. 10 elections.

“At the end of the day there will be no alternative but to bring down the regime of Hamas, a terrorist organization pledged to our destruction,” Netanyahu told foreign reporters in Jerusalem.

Netanyahu, a top contender to become prime minister in next month’s vote, said toppling Hamas would not necessarily have to be part of the current offensive, but would eventually have to happen.
He said Hamas, along with the Lebanese guerrilla group Hezbollah, are Iranian proxies located on Israel’s southern and northern flanks.

“Ultimately Israel cannot tolerate an Iranian base right next to its cities,” Netanyahu said.

Israel sees Iran as its top threat, and believes the country is working to develop a nuclear bomb—something Tehran denies.

“If the proxies of Iran enjoy a nuclear umbrella, we have crossed into another realm,” said Netanyahu, who leads the right-of-center Likud Party. “That is something we really don’t want to contemplate.”

Netanyahu enjoyed a wide lead in the polls before Israel began its Gaza offensive on Dec. 27. However, since the war began he’s been losing ground to Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni of the centrist Kadima Party and Defense Minister Ehud Barak of the left-leaning Labor Party.
The war is enormously popular among Israelis, who see it as a way of stopping Hamas rocket attacks on southern Israel. The offensive has killed some 900 Palestinians and 13 Israelis.
Netanyahu rejected calls to delay the elections because of the Gaza fighting.

“I think if we do not hold it on time, it will give the terrorists an enormous victory. It means that they hold Israeli democracy hostage,” he said.

Even though Israel would not necessarily have to drive Hamas from power now, he said the Jewish state should not pull out of Gaza unless it receives assurances the militants will not rearm through smuggling at the Gaza-Egypt border.
Hamas wrested control of Gaza in June 2007 from the moderate forces of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. The Islamic militants now rule the territory while Abbas’ Fatah movement is in charge of the West Bank. The two territories are located on opposite sides of Israel and are together supposed to make up a future Palestinian state.

Netanyahu said conditions are not ripe for serious negotiations on a final peace deal with Abbas—a position that could put him at odds with the incoming Obama administration in the United States.

Iranian Protesters Back Gaza and Burn Obama Pictures

Iranian protesters back Gaza and burn Obama picture
Reuters
TEHRAN
Dozens of Iranians burnt posters of U.S. President-elect Barack Obama in Tehran on Tuesday and waved Palestinian flags in support of Gaza, according to a witness and photographs.
Iranian demonstrators have often burnt effigies or pictures of U.S. presidents in protests. This appeared to be the first time Obama’s picture had been defaced so publicly, a week before his inauguration as president.
Iran has condemned the West, and the United States in particular, for not doing more to stop Israel’s attacks on Gaza. The 18-day-old offensive, which Israel says is to stop rockets being fired at it, has killed more than 900 Palestinians.
“Where are the freedom seekers?” read one poster held up by a demonstrator at Tuesday’s protest. It had the word “Gaza” emblazoned on it and an image of a weeping Palestinian.
The demonstrators, waving Palestinian flags, some chanting “Death to Obama,” had gathered outside the Swiss embassy which handles U.S. interests because Tehran and Washington have not had diplomatic ties for nearly three decades.
Pictures obtained by Reuters showed the president-elect’s image laid on the road for cars to drive over it, and other images showed demonstrators burning the Obama poster.

But….but…..but they LOVE Obama…. LOL

.

Wild Thing’s comment……….
But Obama wants to go sit down with them without any pre-conditions. They LOVE you Barack Hussein Obama. Iran doesn’t need to worry about Obama, he plans on talking out the issues with no threat of conflict.
Burn Obama’s picture? Heaven forbid, notice how if reuters reported it like that when they burned their first Bush picture. It’s DIFFERENT, when it’s an OBAMA picture!
I guess some of those PLO that were working sooo hard to get Obama elected over there might be changing their minds.

Attitude is Everything

Attitude is Everything
Military.com
by Joseph Kinney
……..About Joseph Kinney
A native of Kansas, Joseph Kinney joined the Marines after completing high school where he became a infantryman serving in Vietnam. Badly wounded, he was discharged, graduated from college, and became a senior aide in the United States Senate. He is writing a book on the role of church and family in the making of America’s warriors. He lives in Pinehurst, NC.

.

Thirty-nine years ago I was shot in an ambush while a Marine on a night patrol in Vietnam. I had potentially fatal wounds to my chest and a serious wound to my right leg. To put matters bluntly, I had never been more terrified in my life. Would I die? And if I died, would I go to heaven? I also thought about the buddies I was leaving behind. Somehow, I wanted to believe that they would be better off without me to slow them down.
The next morning I woke up at a hospital in Da Nang. The doctors told me that my days as a fighting Marine were over. Somehow, I felt that I had more to give but wouldn’t get the chance.
My history is relevant only because there are huge differences between then and now when it comes to our Wounded Warriors. For the past couple of years I have had the privilege of knowing Col. Jack Cox (USA, ret.) who is a stalwart in the Wounded Warrior Program at Fort Bragg. He has been a great friend and mentor, and has taken the time to introduce me to some of this generation’s wounded.
There are at least two important differences between my generation and the young men I have seen at Fort Bragg’s Womack Hospital which is near where I live. For openers, the Army acts as if the wounded person is going to remain forever a soldier. That is their basic operating assumption moving forward. Second, the attitude of these kids is amazing. These brave warriors, no matter how badly wounded they are, believe that they will soon be back with their units fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan.
Today, there are 17 Marines who are amputees fighting in Iraq. I am certain that there are as many soldiers doing the same for the Army.

Recently, I received a widely distributed email from Col (Dr.) Brett Wyrick. He was a trauma surgeon at Balad Air Base in Iraq. He wrote: “If I ever hear (anyone) griping and complaining, I jump into them pretty quickly, now. Most people over here have nothing to gripe about compared to Marines. Marines are different. They have a different outlook on life . . .

“One Marine Private was here for several days because he was a lower priority evacuation patient. He insisted on coming to attention and displaying proper military courtesy every morning when I came through on rounds. He was in a great deal of pain, and it was a stressful to watch him work his way off the bed and onto his crutches. I told him he was excused and did not have to come to attention while he was a patient, and he informed me he was a good Marine and would address ‘. . . Air Force colonels standing on my feet, sir.’ I had to turn away so he would not see the tear in my eye. He did not have ‘feet’ because we amputated his right leg below the knee on the first night he came in.

“I asked a Marine Lance Corporal if there was anything I could get him as I was making rounds one morning. He was an above the knee amputation after an IED blast, and he surprised me when he asked for a trigonometry book. ‘You enjoy math do you?’ He replied, ‘Not particularly, sir. I was never good at it, but I need to get good at it, now.’ ‘Are you planning on going back to school?’ I asked. ‘No sir, I am planning on shooting artillery. I will slow an infantry platoon down with just one good leg, but I am going to get good at math and learn how to shoot artillery.’ I hope he does.

“I had the sad duty of standing over a young Marine sergeant when he recovered from anesthesia—despite our best efforts there was just no way to save his left arm, and it had to come off just below the elbow. ‘Can I have my arm back, sir?’ he asked. ‘No, we had to cut it off, we cannot re-attach it,’ I said. ‘But can I have my arm?’ he asked again. ‘You see, we had to cut it off.’ He interrupted, ‘I know you had to cut it off, but I want it back. It must in a bag or something, sir.’ ‘Why do you want it?’ I asked. ‘I am going to have it stuffed and use it as a club when I get back to my unit.’ I must have looked shocked because he tried to comfort me, ‘Don’t you worry now, colonel. You did a fine job, and I hardly hurt at all; besides I write with my other hand anyway.’

Now, please tell me that these young guys aren’t the Greatest Generation that has ever lived.

Wild Thing’s comment……..
I have such tremendous respect for those that have served our country, in the past and those in the war we are in now. Everyone of them is a true warrior. I agree with this writer and Marine Joseph Kinney. His writing is powerful and I wish everyone could read this.

Bush on Border Agents Ramos and Compean: ‘I’m not talking pardons’

Bush on border agents: ‘I’m not talking pardons’
wnd
In a Jan. 6 interview with John Gizzi, political editor of Human Events, Bush said he regrets that the comprehensive immigration bill he endorsed did not prevail.

“Well, I’m sorry it didn’t pass, because I felt strongly that the comprehensive approach to immigration reform was necessary for border enforcement, as well as recognizing that there are people willing to do work Americans won’t do,” Bush said. “Without the law, by the way, we did put fence up, and the border is becoming more secure. People are now recognizing the truth that there are fewer crossings, and we’ve ended the catch and release and issues like that.”

Bush expressed concern for illegal aliens who risk their lives to come to the United States.

“I don’t like it when the law is so antiquated that people who are willing to do hard work become contraband, they get stuffed in the bottom of 18-wheelers in order to come and do a job that others aren’t willing to do. I don’t think that’s right,” he said.

Only two days later, the Washington Times reported Bush awarded a $61,200 bonus to Border Patrol Chief David V. Aguilar, who has been criticized by members of his own agency for refusing to support Ramos and Compean after they were sentenced to 11 and 12-year prison sentences, respectively, for shooting at an illegal alien drug dealer while he attempted to smuggle 750 pounds of marijuana across the border.
Aguilar made headlines in April 2007 when 100 top leaders of the National Border Patrol Council endorsed a no-confidence resolution against him, citing the cases of Ramos and Compean among other complaints.
The union, which represents 11,000 of the U.S. Border Patrol’s nonsupervisory field agents, pointed to Aguilar’s willingness to believe the “perjured allegations” of criminal aliens over his own agents.

“Front-line Border Patrol agents who risk their lives protecting our borders have every reason to expect that the leadership of their own agency will support them,” NBPC President T.J. Bonner said in the statement. “When this does not occur, and instead they are undermined by their so-called leaders, no one should be surprised when they express a loss of confidence in those managers.”

Nonetheless, Bush presented Aguilar with the presidential merit award for “sustained extraordinary accomplishment” amounting to almost twice the starting salary of a Border Patrol agent.
However, the president wasn’t as willing to provide detailed answers when asked about the agents during the exit interview.

Gizzi asked Bush, “Are you going to pardon Ramos and Compean? Are you talking with them?”

He replied flatly, “I’m not talking pardons.”

Wild Thing’s comment………
This is something that will always leave a stink that will never go away. President Bush needs (( needed) to pardon Ramos and Compean. And also I was hoping he would also pardon all those who fought in the War on Terror — a blanket pardon to stop the coming leftist witch-hunts .
All this concern about people who’ve broken the law, invaded the country and who don’t give two cents for the culture, values, language, or anything else the US stands for, and not one tear shed for US citizens.
I don’t see the shooting an invader in the butt as a crime, not by anyone. I think they should have been given medals for trying to repel an invader from a foreign country.
