Military officers like that are few and far between. Right now there are no politicians in Washington that I know of who will put their constituents and this nation before their political career. Lord willing, come November, there will be at least one in the form of Allen West.
I called and spoke to one of his people at his headquarters – what nice people! Just as I thought he would surround himself – informative and helpful. Have seen him on TV and listened to a number of his speeches. I sent a donation to his campaign in view of what the cystic fibrosis organization did to him and to his wife – withdrew the “couple award” because he and another man are candidates – too political. My opinion: they bowed to large donees who favored another candidate. So sad. So I supported Lt. Col. Allen West instead. God bless him – he personifies America. I hope he wins and I would hope he would consider the presidency one day.
