Awesome Liz Cheney Says in “Age of Obama” it is “More Dangerous to Be America’s Friend than Our Enemy”

Liz Cheneny told the audience at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference that in the “Age of Obama,” it is “more dangerous to be America’s friend than our enemy.”

Liz Cheney pointed to Obama’s shabby treatment of Israel to please the Palestinians, and his treatment of Eastern European allies in order to please the Russians.

“The world is safer when their is no daylight between the United States and the State of Israel… And, President Obama is playing a reckless game if he continues down the path of diminishing America’s ties to Israel.

Any Republican in the hotel ballroom who hadn’t heard Liz Cheney speak before likely walked away impressed. In a nearly 30-minute speech, the former vice president’s daughter laid into the Obama administration over health care, foreign policy and national security, concluding that the country simply deserves better.

“2010 and 2012 are going to be critical years in the long history of this great republic, and we have to make our voices heard,” said Cheney. “We have to stand up and fight.”

Cheney called the health care reform bill “one of the most arrogant power plays in American history.” On national security, she said “someone needs to keep reminding this president that foreign terrorists do not have constitutional rights.”

She called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s reception in Washington two weeks ago “disgraceful,” and said President Obama doesn’t understand that “the world is safer when there is no daylight between the United States and the state of Israel.”

The speech received rousing ovations during and after, and opened the three-day Southern Republican Leadership Conference.

Wild Thing’s comment……..
I am very impressed with Liz Cheney, Everytime she speaks she hits a home run.

TomR says:

Liz Cheney is more than a pretty woman. She is also very intelligent, articulate and knowledgable. She is like a female Charles Krauthammer. I could listen to either person all day and never be bored. Let’s hope and pray that conservatives gain back their power in Congress and the White House and that Liz and Charles, among other good conservatives, are put in position to affect America’s government.

Mark says:

We got a lot of good choices Michelle Bachmann Liz Cheney, Sarah Palin and not necessarily in that order.
Liz Cheney was on CNN and just absolutely shredded the host and the rest of the left they had on for a pile on, she literally kicked ass.

Wild Thing says:

Tom, I agree so much. I have a ton of respect for her and also for Michele Bachmann. Yes she does remind me of Charles too.

Wild Thing says:

Mark, oh wow thanks for sharing about Liz on CNN heh heh that is great. She is strong and can go on those shows and not be intimidated by their hosts and other guests, that is great.
