Sarah Palin and Rep Michele Bachmann held a massive rally in the Minnesota Convention Center yesterday. Both Bachmann and Palin blasted Obama over his latest fantasy national security decision.
There were thousands of passionate conservatives. T-shirts and banners (“Palin-Bachmann, Our Dream Team.”). People coming to the Minneapolis Convention Center at 5:30 in the morning for a 2 p.m. event.
Let’s start with the star attractions, Bachmann and Palin. The thousands standing on the concrete floor for hours didn’t just like these two, they adored them. Everything about ’em, especially when they ripped into Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid or President Obama. The people booed those three with the same gusto they cheered Bachmann and Palin.

Wild Thing’s comment……..
It’s nice to see Americans on TV for a change. The Kenyan has no clue what it is like to be a real American. We love our country, and we will fight to keep it the land of the free that thousands and thousands our Veterans and our troops today have sacrificed to bless us with.
Notice how the crowd loves them both. I am very proud of both of them. They’re excellent conservative leaders. They are smart and not afraid to stand up to Obama and his thugs.
LOL Sarah said, “Democrats are addicted to O.P.M. ( other people’s money).
I’m disappointed with Palin because her support of McCain who, by the way, is now trying to distance himself from his “Maverick” title.
BobF – me too. But I think Palin was paying back what she might have thought was a debt. At least I hope that was her reason.
I really like this Palin/Bachmann duo. I would vote for that ticket in a heartbeat. I just don’t know if America would be quite ready for a two women ticket. I bet America is ready though for one of the two to head a ticket. There is a fair number of good conservative men who would make excellent running mates. John Bolton would be my first choice.
She has a steadfast loyalty to McCain, and figures she owes him. They are miles apart on the issues,…so go figure.
I like that team Palin/Bachmann but If Body language means anything then why is Michelle sort of leaning away from Sarah Palin.
Is it because she wants to define herself as her own person or… I don’t know.
I understand her being loyal to McCain but I don’t understand why since McCain’s people threw her under the bus and he allowed it to happen. Also, loyalty and feeling you owe someone may be big motivators but doing what’s right should be more. JD Hayworth espouses all the ideals she believes in and would be better for this nation. If McCain gets reelected, he’ll throw conservatives under the bus in a heartbeat.
Leadership, being a leader, is doing what’s right for your people, even when it hurts you personally.
I agree, I was disappointed with her campaigning for McCain. I do feel it is a way of her thanking him for picking her for his VP. But other then that there is no excuse for her to do such a thing. It gives a feeling of what we have had to much of in crossing the isle to ” be nice” to the enemy. McCain takes one step forward in agreeing with conservatives and then does an about face and takes 10 steps back when he does things along with the leftside of the isle.
My main concern is what Palin stands for in her beliefs and how she feels about America. That as far as I can tell has not changed. I do like the way she says what she thinks and writes in her columns and at Facebook, when she does this about obama and his agenda. She is still a take no prisoner mentality and that is a good thing.
For me I watch closly all of them and cheer them on when they are doing and saying the right thing.
Mark that is interesting what you pointed out. Michelle is totally awesome and has put her career on the line countless times as she takes a stand with so many on the left, with Geithner, and others. It could be she wants to remain her own person and not be a clone of Sarah. Just a guess.
I just pray they both stay strong on being conservative. Because so far Michelle for one has really made people listen.
Thank you everyone soooo much for your input it means a lot to me. I think we need to be aware of all things about those on our side like with Sarah and Michelle. Actions and deeds are important and need to be pointed out.
