News On Republican Candidates Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain

Michele Bachmann Announces 2012 Presidential Bid
Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann announced her presidential candidacy from Waterloo, Iowa. Bachmann says,

“Don’t mistake my happy memories of growing up here in Waterloo, Iowa as pining for the past. I recognize, it’s impossible to turn the clock back and to go back to a different day. Instead, I want this moment to serve as a reminder of the best of who we are as a nation and of what our values are, and what it is to make America great. To recapture its best for the promise of the future. I want my candidacy for the presidency of the United States to stand for a moment when we the people stand once again for the independence from a government that has gotten too big and spends too much and has taken away too much of our liberties.”

Bachmann said she is running because she is “profoundly grateful” for the blessings she has received from God and from living in this great country.

She also said she is running because the nation “cannot afford another four years of Barack Obama” as President. Bachmann declared, “We can win in 2012, and we will win.”

Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain and liberal FOX News analyst Juan Williams agreed last night that:

“Liberals have a problem with black conservatives… You don’t fit in the box. You are jumping out of the pen.”

.

Wild Thing’s comment…..
At this point I am not going to pick anyone. But I did want to share her official announcement and what went on with Cain and Juan.
Michele and Cain are both conservatives so that I am very pleased about. It is just to early to go all out for anyone yet. All I can feel right now is my anger at Obama and I long for someone to really hit him hard in this election. And then also win against him too of course.

Did you read that she confused two John Wayne’s!??? OMG!!!! It’s all over the news!!! Horrible!!! How can that woman run for president!!! It’s a main item on Yahoo News so it MUST be important!(sarcasm warning).
Really, does the MSM have nothing else to write about? Is anybody still taking these journalists serious?

Your right as far as not really picking or selecting anyonento back at this point.
I think that Bachmann, Cain and Perry are addressing the, “Tea Party Message”, for lack of a better term, is noteworthy however. This is being reflected in their standing in the polls vs. the Rinos, Huntsman and Romney.
This is all going to get better as we get closer to the actual Conventions. The Republicans have a real chance here to do some long term damage to the Democratic machine. Let’s hope that the RNC and others in positions of influence, don’t blow it by continuing to show support for the likes of Huntsman and Romney.
It is time for those elitists to start listening to the people, instead of trying to go along to get along.

I so agree with you, Chrissie, waiting indeed to see how the race and the contestants evolve. Git yer popcorn, kids!! 🙂

Wild Thing says:

Thanks everyone so much. ((hug))
I agree about those that are conservative moving up in the polls.
Also I agree that each one better watch their statements and do all they can to avoid gaffs. It is fodder for the left and they will never admit obama’s really horrible gaffes.
