Sen. Mitch McConnell Followed John Kerry On CBS’ Bob Schieffer Show and Gave a Great Response

Sen. Mitch McConnell tells CBS’ Bob Schieffer he does not believe Obama is serious about addressing the budget. McConnell said he has had a number of private conversations with the President and Vice President and saw no willingness from them to do anything difficult.

“Where’s the president? Where’s the leadership,” the Republican Senator from Kentucky asks, along with another question for John Kerry: “What planet is he living on?”

Wild Thing’s comment……..
The longer version of the interview Schieffer tried to get McConnell to agree with Kerry or at least to show weakness, but he didn’t. This is something I got so sick of the last several years how when Republicans have a chance to speak up they wimp out. I wanted to share this clip with you where McConnell actually did stay strong and he told the truth too. Obama is horrible as a president and for many more reasons that were even stated in this interview, but at least it is a start when we hear those elected on our side speak up.

Mark says:

I think McConnel has seen the light and what is going to happen if we don’t start cutting spending. But meeting with biden is like meeting with Michael moore to talk diets. There is nothing between either’s ears that would suggest a coherent response.

Carlos says:

The Senator from Kentucky is performing well in his critical position, especially in light of the following news earlier today:
“The federal government posted its largest monthly deficit in history in February, a $223 billion shortfall that put a sharp point on the current fight on Capitol Hill about how deeply to cut this year’s spending”:

Wild Thing says:

Mark, your right, can you imagine having to meet with either one of them,. Biden or Obama augh.
Carlos, thanks for the link and info. I appreciate it.
