Putin Plans to Meet with Heads of Mideast Christian Churches in Budapest
Moscow, October 30, Interfax – Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to meet with the heads of Christian Churches of the Middle East during a visit to Budapest on Wednesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
The meeting has been arranged by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Peskov said. “You know that Russia does a lot to protect Christian Churches in the Middle East, and it has done a lot to this end particularly in Syria. The meeting is going to be interesting,” Peskov said.
While in Budapest, Putin also plans to visit the headquarters of the International Judo Federation located in the Hungarian capital.
