Visiting Andrew Jackson’s Tomb
Before the rally, Trump toured The Hermitage, Andrew Jackson’s historic home, and placed a wreath on his tomb in honor of Jackson’s 250th birthday. As Trump showed up for the rally, someone announced that he was in the building but there were still thousands of people outside, waiting to get into the building. Security delays caused fans to have trouble getting in, as a screening process slowed everything down. The rally was already 30 minutes late when Trump began speaking.
