Calif. School District Decides Learning about Diversity Is More Important Than Learning Geography -Keeping the masses dumbed down

El Rancho Verde Unified School District will stop requiring its high-school students to take geography and instead require them to take a class on diversity and inclusion.
ERUSD president Aurora Villon said the class is necessary because minority students “need to feel validated.”
“When you negate their culture, they feel less than other students,” she said in an e-mail to Whittier Daily News.
Wild Thing’s comment.…….
They might as well put high school diplomas on the back of cereal boxes!

Our son received private school CHRISTIAN educations and morals and values and ran with them to be accepted by three superb universities and a first rate Reformed Seminary! We paid $$$ from our blood, sweat and tears work ethics to accomplish this! We are lucky he did not attend blue state public

I am surprised at how well some public schools do at teaching the kids. But, some public schools are true adherents of the politically correct, dumbing down, progressive curriculum. Most private, especially church based(Catholic, Christian, Jewish, Mormon, etc.), however have a much better record of educating young people. Watch a spelling bee or a geography bee and almost all the contestants will be private or home schooled.
