“Reagan talked about it in the 70’s when he was fighting the Ford wing of the Republican party. That is what we are fighting , this is another fight. It is the Ford wing of the Republican party vs. the Reaganites. That is what we conservatives are that is what the Tea party is all about. So it the rise of the Reaganites against the Ford wing once again. Phrase it any way we wish. These people are very comfortable with big government. Listen to Mitch McConnell he does not have a clue he does not have an argument, he does not have a cause.Nothing! Listen to Boehner, the only time he got emotional was when he was screaming at conservatives. “
Wild Thing’s comment…………
I tried typing out what Mark said, he is right and that is why we see some Republicans attacking conservatives that thank Ted Cruz and Mike Lee for example. Those doing the attacks are the Ford wing of the party. They call themselves conservatives but if they are why do they hate and attack the tea party, why do they hate anyone that calls a liberal Republican a rino. I have seen these Ford wing Republicans calling we conservatives morons, and a constant bashing across the board of those of us that want those we elect to stand strong and not weaken when they get to Washington.
Mark gave an excellent explanation of this IMO. It explains a lot to me, I have been shocked to see some people going after in full attack mode of let’s say Ted Cruz when he was doing what we asked him to do and fight back against Obamacare. That was so horrible how some in our party have been attacking him. sheesh. And at the same time these same people seldom are attacking Obama or anyone on the left……… really weird and certainly not what a conservative would be doing.
This is why Mark Levin is The Great One.
This caller is right. The Republican Establishment is like the moderate Dems of the 50’s/60’s. I still remember the GWH Bush groups attacks on Reagan. They were as snide and underhanded as the Dems. I think one of Reagan’s few errors was picking Bush as his veep. “Voodoo economics”. Sure!
