Jesse Jackson Jr: Let’s Add the Right to Economic Security to Constitution

Because FDR says, as Jackson quotes, that true individual freedom can’t exist without economic security. So what does Jackson want to add to the Constitution? He quotes FDR again: the right to a family to have a decent home, the right to medical care, and the right to a decent education for every American.

Nobody said FDR was right either. Because they didn’t have economic security, our fathers and grandfathers exercised their individual freedoms to better themselves and make a future for those who will follow them.
If they had economic security like Junior here wants, they would have never took the risk to better themselves. They would have been like the welfare queens who vote Jackson into office. They have economic security in that they know they’ll have government money for food, housing, clothing, cell phones, booze, and drugs. As such, they have no ambition to better themselves to they’ve sacrificed their individual freedoms to the government welfare check.
Wow….after suffering through listening to this guy I was left with one thought….What a piece of crap!!! These people are nuts….Oh what the hell lets just guarantee everything to everyone and then none of us have to work for anything we can just sit back and “collect”. These people have lost their effing minds!! Get off you butts and work for prosperity..work for individual security…work for success!! Damn it just work for something instead of having it just given to you…..Geez
Pure socialism. It depends on x number of people willing to work and produce, then agreeing to pay x amount of taxes. The producers are getting tired of having to carry the non producers. There is a revolution brewing that may ultimately decide whether America is going to be a socialist state or not.
