That was one of the most intense and passionate exhortations I have ever heard.
This man has done 2 Tours in Iraq and as he speaks you hear him tell of how he is going back for a 3rd tour and how he feels about what the Dems have been trying to do.
It will be something that will stay with you for a very long time.
God bless this man, we owe him so much, I wish we could all thank him personally.

When the seasoned grunt on the ground has that much faith and confidence in the mission’s success it’s an absolute treasonous travesty that the Pelosi crowd is allowed to demean the troops in the manner they have done. Ignorance about the realities of war is somewhat excusable but not for our leaders, Murtha has absolutely no excuse, because ignorance can be cured with knowledge. The Democrats and the media want to lose the Iraq war just to rub the GOP and Bush’s nose in it. This is the national security that the Democrats offer the United States in an all out ideological religious war against the civilized world perpetrated by Islam. My thoughts on Murtha, he’s a power hungry thug with his corrupt hand caught in the cookie jar along with his thieving brother who is under the shadow of indictment, as long as he pushes the anti-war agenda for the Communists in office and the media, they focus on that and not his corruption. Nancy has Murtha’s nads in her lockbox.

There are so many of us at home here that understand and agree wholeheartedly with this *true* American patriot. Our hearts feel the same emotions, have the same anger towards the anti-amerika/anti-war dipsticks. It wouldn’t matter to say they should go over in walk a mile in their boots. They would never go.
As Lt.White said at a commencement of a group of Rangers:

That is why those in this nation that truly support our soldiers should continue to do everything they can to make sure that 08′ produces a strong conservative House, Senate and Presidency.
What continues to amaze me is that notwithstanding Oprah, Paris Hilton, Sanjay and the Glow-ball Vorming brigades that are more concerned about our light bulbs, these soldiers continue to fight on, with honor and dignity and a great love for this nation. They are, will always be the true ‘heroes’ of this nation. As this Sgt. so aptly exclaimed: “I am a Ranger. I do not fail.”
Much more than ever could be said for the trash in D.C. May God continue to shine his favor upon this nation, our service men and women and grant us a speedy victory.

This Ranger sergeant could have also been talking about 1968. It is very difficult to serve at the risk of your life and at the same time have your efforts be attacked by the leadership on the homefront. These soldiers today know that the enemy they are fighting in Iraq/Afghanistan want us to quit the fight. That way the islamists know they will be unobstructed in taking the terror attacks to America.
I cannot tell if Pelosi, Reid, Murtha and company have offered any alternative to stopping the islamic War if we pull out of the Mideast. Have they presented a viable plan I have not heard of? Or are we supposed to depend on being respected by the islamists for our respect and good intentions.
Let the Sergeant and his buddies do their job and accomplish the mission. Give them 100+% support and pray for them and America. The Pelosi bunch neither support our troops nor pray.

Tom, thank you, so far the only plan I have heard from Pelosi and Reid and Murtha too is that think we should have sit downs with the insurgents. I heard Reid say those exact words, a sit down with the insurgents and apply diplomacy.
