Soldiers in a Stryker vehicle stop for a muster of turkeys crossing the road in the outskirts of Mosul Nov. 3. The Soldiers are with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division. (Sgt. Antonieta Rico, 5th Mobile Public Affairs Det.)

Billy says:

A little further North and they would have been…..”On the Border with Turkey”…….sorry, couldn’t resist.
Billy

Wild Thing says:

Hahahaaha
Good one!!

Jack says:

They look about the size of our wild turkeys but don’t seem to be too alarmed, most turkey hunters would go ape for a clear shot like those.

Wild Thing says:

Jack, hahaha I know, they are just look like they are taking a Sunday stroll. hahaha

Mark says:

Those ares some scrawny looking Turkeys and not one Tom.

Lyn in Australia says:

At least the turkey’s are safer than the poor schmucks that got burnt alive yesterday…:( It’s safer to be a turkey than a human being in Iraq at the moment!

Wild Thing says:

Lyn in Australia it sure is. The last few days have been horrible in Iraq. What a nightmare.
