Young Muslims conference in CT hosts Al Qaeda linked cleric Mazen Mokhtar -group held Jihad & Afterlife camps 6/30/ -7/20/06
Young Muslims of North America, the youth division of the Islamic Circle of North America and The Muslim American Society, groups with ties to Al Qaeda, have announced they will be holdng a conference on June 30th to July 2nd in the newly opened Connecticut Conference Center ‘Following in The Footsteps of the Prophet” Living Islam, Loving Humanity’. One of the speakers is Mazen Mokhtar, a New Jersey Imam who was investigated by the FBI for his ties to Al Qaeda. He ran a mirror website for Azzam.com an Al Qaeda ‘mouthpiece’ and was also linked to a bomb plotters in the UK who tragetted US landmarks.
The news of Moktars scheduled appearence at a recent MAS conference in Tampa caused an uproar resulting in the event being disrupted and forced to find an alternative venue, after irate citizens called the Presbytarian retreat where the event was scheduled to be held, and expressed their outrage that they would be hosting a group with ties to terrorism, and were alleged to have issued threats
The Young Muslim activities include Jihad and and Afterlife camps, and MAS and ICNA were recently in the forefront campaigns to free Bush assassin wanabee Omar Abu Ali and George Mason University professor Ali Al Tamimi, a Jihad recruiter and part of the Virginia Paintball network. Both men were convicted and jailed on terrrorism charges.
A excerpt for the website of the Investigative Project counter terrorism blog shows how groups such as MAS and by extension Young Muslims are actually part of the Muslim Brotherhood, and promotes their Islamist agenda which aims to turn American into A Muslim American Society. These facts go unmentioned by the media, which aids and abets them to operate behind a facade as moderates.
The Muslim Brotherhood: What Do They Really Want To Teach American Muslim Youth?
Certain journalists from respected media outlets – most recently Mary Beth Sheridan of the Washington Post – continue to display a certain naiveté in reporting stories on extremist organizations who falsely profess to be mainstream moderates. Merely parroting their words without examination creates articles that are void of fact and nuance.
However, in an August 8 article titled “Educating Against Extremism; Muslims Reach Out to Youths Who Could Be Susceptible to Radicalism,” Sheridan neglected to mention that MAS is intimately and publicly connected to the Muslim Brotherhood, a secretive society dedicated to the establishment of Islamic rule, who recently issued a public appeal for support of the forces fighting the coalition in Iraq.
Unfortunately, Sheridan’s omissions are part of a larger problem of journalists who have wittingly or unwittingly become defacto public relations representatives for extremist Islamist groups. Taking their press releases at face value, journalists have helped effectively to cover up the larger, serious issue of the growing secret network of the Muslim Brotherhood in the US.

In WWII, would we have allowed similar organizations of “young” Germans or Japanese? No! And this confusing President and Administration are letting moslems immigrate into America in ever increasing numbers.
I live in CT and didn’t know this. They’ll be in Hartford, which is somehow symbolic. Hartford has had sixteen murders (mostly youngsters), this year, and the authorities are “cracking down” on it, as they’ve been doing for thirty-five years.
Their solutions this time, and every time, are jobs programs, after school programs and “zero tolerance”. These are euphemisms for doing nothing. The problem is a culture of criminal behavior, dependency, failed single-parent households, a 40% dropout rate, and the soft bigotry of low expectations. The beat goes on.
In such a screwloose political and social environment, the consequences of the diseases of liberalism, no one would notice a bomb-making seminar at the Hartford Civic Center, or a Holocaust denying festival.
Recently it was learned that, in the last ten years, the state’s ratio of college educated residents to non-college residents has slipped precipitously, and they’re commissioning a study to find out why! Why? People with brains are leaving the dead-end liberal pest colonies of the Northeast by the thousands, and never coming back.
Believe me, Jihadis fit right in up here. With Yale and Wesleyan just down the road, and Amherst and Harvard just to the north, these turds have lots of friends.

Ever since I was a child I have loved CT. My Fathers favorite area too. It is so beautiful there, and it breaks my heart to see this happening to places I love so much. Like California, Nick and I really miss it. We spent the larger part of our lives there and even though it is pure liberal leftists over run, we would love to move back there one day. We miss the mountains and the coastline drives we used to take. I guess after living there me, for 28 years and Nick for 38 years it is more our home then anywhere else.
You mentioned how people are leaving CT …. wonder if those that left CT will miss CT like we miss California.
The way our country has caved in to the muslims, Saudi schools, oh gosh so many things, it really does not seem that localized anymore. Some areas like Dearborn ( spelling) Michigan are infested with them. But no place is completely rid of them or the lefties. waaaaaa

When I was growing up I asked my Dad what PC was and what did it mean. He told me, (gosh this had to have been in 1962 maybe) he said that PC meant politically correct and that one day it would be one of the main things that destroyed America. I asked him why and he said because of apathy from good people, but also because the news (back then no one said the word media) giving voice to the left.
One of the colleges he graduated from was Boston and at that school at that time, they had a HUGE map of the United States. A person would look down at this huge globe type map from above (with a railing around it) all with lights in strategic places of where we had military bases….some that I had never heard of and places where the President would be taken for safety etc. It was an amazing map and I will never forget seeing it and what it meant. ( I wonder if it is still there)
He was studying entrepreneurship and one of the things they went in depth about was the effect of riots, safety of living on main streets vs. a place to live with no exits for safety, marching in the streets by communists protestors (and this was way before Kent State etc.)
He must have been going to that college back in the early 30’s and way back then to have people predicting this kind of thing not only scared me but I found it tremendously interesting as well. They were concerned with all these things because each had an effect on business ventures and keeping the economy growing to make a strong America.
Sorry I got off track there, but in a way it reminds me of how every thing we give in to the Muslims with, each thing destroys us a little more each time. It takes away from our strength, our power of who we are as a Nation. It weakens us from within which is what their plan is according to all the things I have read about Islam and what they want for America and the world.

You guys need to relax… I attended the conference.. it was awesome.. it was all about Muslims getting involved in social services and becomming better neighbors to their fellow Americans. The Theme was Living Islam, Loving Humanity. How can we believe the hype dished out by obviously biased sites (just look at the title Militant Islam Monitor). Booo. get a grip.

Have a look at the current US Public Debt, which currently stands at US$ 8.4 Trillion Dollars. That is $27,500 for each & every man woman & child in the US!
No other country in the world has such an imbalance of trade & the only reason that the situation can exist is that the US Dollar is used to buy & sell oil, & that the US Military bullies any opposition to changing the US Oil Dollar hegemony. This is why the US went into Iraq & why it plans to attack Iran.
