It’s funny, but also gross and horrifying. This is a last-resort defense, the kind of thing a defeated, vanquished and degraded culture does when real victory no longer matters, and the dignity attached to a noble fight has fallen into depravity.
If a society is judged by how it treats the young and the old, this is all you need to know about Arabs and Arab machismo. Mein Kampf has been a best seller in the Middle East since WWII. Nazi Germany printed the book in Arabic, and distributed thousands of copies in Allied Middle East colonies to gain support for the Nazi cause. Most of the Arab Nationalist groups at the time used Hitler’s book to structure and build their organizations agendas for the ousting of the European colonial powers after the war.
