Arizona threatens to cut off power to Los Angeles
Examiner Tampa Bay
Arizona Corporation Commissioner Gary Pierce sent a letter Tuesday to Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa daring him to carry out his bogus race-baiting vendetta against Arizona for expecting immigrants to follow rules.
In the letter, he warned that boycott wars are bad for both sides, but said he will “be happy to encourage Arizona utilities to renegotiate your power agreements.”
Pierce added:
I am confident that Arizona’s utilities would be happy to take those electrons off your hands…If, however, you find that the City Council lacks the strength of its convictions to turn off the lights in Los Angeles and boycott Arizona power, please reconsider the wisdom of attempting to harm Arizona’s economy.

Wild Thing’s comment……..
So now it’s state vs. state. I can’t blame AZ at all if they do this or even think about doing it.
Obama sure is one heck of a unifier, isn’t he!?!
This is how you end the good faith between the States that holds us together and it is the short-sighted Liberals in CA (and Obama) that don’t see the big picture here as they wrongly attack and boycott an individual State.
I applaud Arizona for reminding CA/LA how stupid they are and can only hope that if push comes to shove they cut the power off.
However, we are seeing a fracture of the “faith” that keeps our states (and nation) at peace with one another and it’s disturbing.
Bottom line from me I say, bring it on. I am so fed up with politicians siding with the lawless and ignoring OUR laws.
I live in Los Angeles, and my councilwoman is Janice Hahn, the author and prime mover of the Boycott resolution. Believe me, a more clueless individual would be hard to find. Our Mayor,(Photo-op Tony), is of the same cloth.
To see this reaction from a person in power in Arizona, thrills me.
I believe that the Governor of Arizona also had some comments regarding our great Mayor and City Council. Something to the effect that she was amazed that they could find the time in the midst of trying to avoid the City going into Bankruptcy, to address this issue.
Rest assured, not all of us here in the once Golden State are like Janice and Tony.
It would be great if Arizona turned off the power to California. Part of this is due to their own stupid, confiscatory regulations as to where they can/can not, run overhead lines. But thats Arnolds problem.
I would love to see Arizona turn off the power to Los Angeles but I don’t see Arizona being that petty. However, if L.A. doesn’t pay their bill as part of the boycott, and that bill has got to be huge, then AZ should cut them off.
And since, California has to buy power from AZ that means California’s capacity to run the whole state is lacking, then California would be faced with a brownout condition due to Under Voltage, and that would cause major damage, to industry and residential alike. Not to mention line sags and breaks and further outtages… Hehehe,… I love it when a plan comes together. Also the hot weather is going to arrive soon and that will exacerbates the problem.
This is whats great about battleing Libtards, they never understand the problem, they just go for the emotional high, when they are sitting in the dark playing nip and singing Cum bye ya, someone ought to ask how did this happen.

“Hey, how come it’s dark in the governor’s mansion?”
Sean, thank you so much for sharing about how it is there. And the information too. I lived in the Los Angeles area for almost 30 years. I miss it terribly, the beauty of Calif. but it breaks my heart what the government there has been doing and not just now, but for a long time.
Mark, I agree.
