“The economy that was losing jobs a year ago is creating jobs today. After the single biggest economic crisis in our lifetimes, we’re heading in the right direction. We’re moving forward. Our economy is stronger, that economic heartbeat is growing stronger. But I measure progress by a different pulse.”
.
Wild Thing’s comment…….
And this is one ( more ) PATHETIC comment he just made. I am actually a bit afraid of what he will do next.
I think he is saying that he won’t stop until America no longer has a pulse. He pretty much thinks he can say whatever he likes, the press will report it as Gospel fact and the sheeple will believe it.
“..But I measure progress by a different pulse.”
I’ll say. You measure of a different pulse is “How many freedoms have I destroyed today, this week, this month.”
Or is it, “How much money have I stolen from working people to my lazy on welfare voters?”
Or even, “How much money can I skim off for myself,” Chicago thug?
Commie lying fascist dictator.
He’s counting the jobs created by the passing of Health care, i.e., government jobs. The private sector that runs the country is still in limbo.
He’s counting government jobs which they are now counting as helping the economy. When no new growth has actually been created.
We need to get him to specify. When he says “I think at some point you have made enough money.” If he would say $250,000 was enough money we could peel of his entire Hollywood and Sports support.
You’re so right Mark to point out government jobs in the public sector are the pulse with which he measures.
The current riots in Greece come from new austerity measures imposed by a government that can no longer provide for a bloated public sector with a myriad of excessive benefits and entitlements including unmarried daughters receiving their father’s public pensions.
With high taxes on the private sector for decades, the government in Athens has taught and paid an entire generation of Greeks to do little or nothing, to lead a life with a huge false sense of entitlement, all the while blurring the distinction between the public sector and the private sector.
Now that those entitlements are being taken away because there’s no longer a private sector that can support it all, we have the current situation with the rest of the EU led by Germany bailing out Greece.
In tax and spend America where gov’t workers make more than twice the average private sector wage, we are headed down the very same road as Greece with no nation or group on Earth large enough to bail us out.
In this fundamental transformation of America there is no private sector, nor freedom. We will all work for government in one huge faithless collective of sloth, deceit, and misery -a life by government ration.
Mark, that is exctly what he is doing.
Thank you Avitar and Carlos too.
