Boehner: Climate bill a ‘pile of s–t’

The article is below, but I wanted to share this interview with you from the Mark Levin show. Boehner explains in it how the Senate will have even more pressure on them to vote NO .

.

Boehner: Climate bill a ‘pile of s–t’
The Hill
Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) had a few choice words about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) landmark climate-change bill after its passage Friday.

When asked why he read portions of the cap-and-trade bill on the floor Friday night, Boehner told The Hill, “Hey, people deserve to know what’s in this pile of s–t.”

Even though Sen. Majorty Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) holds the bill’s fate in his hands, House Republicans intend to hammer Speaker Pelosi’s signature climate-change measure over recess.

And GOP Conference Chairman Rep. Mike Pence (Ind.) said “we have only just begun to fight” as he left the Capitol Friday night.

Mike Pence encouraged GOP rank-and-file lawmakers to hold energy summits in their districts over the Independence Day recess. In the recess packets sent home with members, he even included directions on how to organize energy summits

.
The goal of holding an energy forum is to “educate your constituents about the Democrats’ national energy tax legislation and let them know what ‘all of the above’ solution you support.”
All of the above” solution is a reference to the Republicans’ plan that would increase the use of and exploration for domestic energy supplies.
Further, officials with the House GOP’s campaign arm, the National Republican Congressional Committee, confirm that they will run with paid media over recess in districts of conservative Dems who voted for the bill. The official would not reveal details on the ad buys at this time.
One Democrat was upset that his leaders would needlessly force vulnerable Dems to vote for a bill that will come back to haunt them. Mississippi Rep. Gene Taylor (D) voted against the measure that he says will die in the Senate.

“A lot of people walked the plank on a bill that will never become law,” Taylor told The Hill after the gavel came down.

Wild Thing’s comment…….
I am glad to hear Mike Pence and what they plan on doing so the Semate knows information they have on this as well. I hope they show them that video where Obama talks about the real cost of this.

Glenn Cassel AMH1(AW) USN RET says:

Not only is Mr. Boehner correct in that the Crap and Tax bill is a piece of shit, the bill’s primary author/backer is also a piece of shit. That is one little henry wax man of the people’s dumbass, socialist republik of kalifornia. little henry is such a worthless piece of shit that he has no value even as fertilzer.

jim says:

Federal building codes. How is that remotely constitutional? It seems to me that would be directly in violation of the 10th amendment. Oh wait, I forgot, the Constitution was thrown under the bus on Jan. 20.

jan says:

I would like to see John Boehner on youtube read the whole piece of crap line-by-line, page-by-page. It will take off like wildfire across the internet. These clowns have US to answer to. GO JB!!

TomR says:

Let’s hope that massive tax and regulate bill dies in the Senate. If enough messages are sent to our senators maybe the bill will be decisively defeated.
Also lets hope we get some more conservatives like Boehner elected to Congress in 2010.

Jack says:

I appreciate everything John Boehner is doing, with his nads on the stump in 2010 he’s making a big pitch at being our champion, I remember the Gang of Seven and the Contract with America. What happened John? Where are those noble causes and their members now?
I also appreciate everything Mike Pence is doing but like all those in both houses it’s too little too late. Looking at today then back at 1994, what the hell happened? Both the above have been in politics since 1990. Avarice???
Which party sat by without a whisper of outrage when the CPC was founded in 1991 by Congressman Bernie Sanders a self proclaimed Socialist? Where was the GOP when a purely racist faction set up inside the House of Representatives, the “Democratic Select Committee”, formed in January 1969 renamed the Congressional Black Caucus in February 1971 on the motion of Charles B. Rangel of New York? Psst!!! The reality is, Socialists have been in control since 1933.
Since I’m being racist, here’s to another GOP hero, I’m a racist according to Lindsey Graham because I reject amnesty for illegal aliens and I want to have a say in who is let into this country – when, where and how. I’m being bigoted because I don’t want John McCain to give away my homeland so he can continue to be a Democrat in GOP clothing.
Bills, don’t ever read them, either write one just like it or pitch a bitch then buy off on it anyway, the quibbling being over simple wording like “and” and “or” as in the legality of a joint checking account, where it doesn’t halt the spending and only limits who is the benefactor at probate.
I simply don’t trust anyone who has been in there as long as all those politicos have and they haven’t questioned the motives of that representative or senator on either side of them, those members of Communist cells within the very respective bodies they belong to.
I hope John Boehner and Mike Spence can bring the GOP out of their stupor but I harbor grave doubts. Like that Memorex ad, is it real or Memorex? Are they posturing for posterity or are they sincere? Maybe it’s only because there is no escape route for being outspoken and under duress. A coyote will put up a fierce fight once cornered with no escape route, I’m thinking about Arlen Spector and John McCain, coyote escapees who clearly spoiled the GOP, yet they escape retribution or censure by either party.
Don’t forget for a second that what is in control of the nation right now is the product of GOP apathy, the CPC and CBC are in totalitarian control, one set to install total Socialism by caveat the other busy emptying the treasury to buy the black/hispanic/islamic vote.
Toss’em all out, all 435 in the House and 34 of those in the Senate.

Mark says:

According to what I’ve heard and read about this ‘bill’. New Construction, homes, and Comercial will have to be 30% more efficient than they are now. This would drive the price’s way up out of site. The State is mostly responsible for Residential, but commercial is all Federal. I was quoting a job for a Golf Course and the whole job was held up by the EPA, and Plumbing, the Plumber had $ 30,000 invested already and had not laid one stick of pipe.
Now with this Crap and turd bill all this will change. For the worse.
The Unions have for years trying to get the United States to sign on to World Building Codes and these are even worse than our current codes and much more punitive than here.
Hopefully the bill will die in the Senate.

Wild Thing says:

Glenn Cassel AMH1(AW) USN RET, Agred!
What concerns me is how much they are
saying the Senate will vote no. I worry
about that becauae with any politican
to take for granted now adays that they
will vote the correct way on someting…
well there just are no guarantees unless
they are already speaking out against it.

Wild Thing says:

Jan, heh heh what would be good too is yes
have him read the whole thing and force all
those that voted for this including OBAMA to
have to sit and hear the entire thing with
only potty breaks and water to drink.

Wild Thing says:

Jim, every day I see how true that is….
“the Constitution was thrown under the bus on Jan. 20.”

Wild Thing says:

Tom, DITTO that we have time now too to
contact these people. It was hard these
last two weeks a lot of the time the
phones were busy. I did a lot of redial
hahaha just to get through.

Wild Thing says:

Jack, I agree so much and I know exactly
how you feel. Before I would see an R with
a politicans name and just felt oh good
one for our side. But NO more. Now I
want to know how they voted on things
and where do they stand now and if they
are not speaking out I have little time
for them. I have had it with the wanting
to be friends bs across the isle.
The only reason to cross the isle is to
punch the other guy out.

Wild Thing says:

Mark, oh my gosh this is sooooo bad.
It jsut gets worse and worse the more
we find out about it.
Thank you Mark for the information.
