Excerpts from Bill Ayers’ Interview With Fox News
Source
Alan Colmes recently taped an exclusive interview with Bill Ayers – and tonight, for the first time since Hannity & Colmes – Alan will appear on-set with Sean to discuss and air the interview
(tonight on Hannity, 9:00pm ET on FNC)
Ayers on President Obama sending 17,000 additional troops to Afghanistan:
“It’s a mistake. It’s a colossal mistake. And, you know, we’ve seen this happen before, Alan. We’ve seen a hopeful presidency, Lyndon Johnson’s presidency, burn up in the furnace of war.”
“I fear that this brilliant young man, this hopeful new administration, could easily burn their prospect of a great presidency in the war in Afghanistan or elsewhere.”
On setting bombs as part of the Weather Underground:
“I don’t regret anything I did it to oppose the war. It was — I did it to oppose the war. I don’t regret it.”
“I don’t look back on those things and regret them, but I’m willing to rethink them. And there are many things which I’m going to rethink.”
Wild Thing’s comment………
Interviewing an unrepentant terrorist and doctrinaire Marxist; I’d expect nothing less from Colmes. Ayers shouldn’t even be breathing God’s air and Fox wants to legitimize him with a prime time interview!?
Ayers is my enemy, he also the enemy of my country. Obama is the enemy from within to even have associated with this man. He NEVER even threw him under the bus. No one in the media went after Obama for his friendship with Ayers, other then a few on Talk Radio and Hannity talked about it a lot.
“Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that’s where it’s really at”
–Bill Ayers (1970), quoted in New York Times, September 11, 2001
“Dig It. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, they even shoved a fork into a victim’s stomach! Wild!”
-Weather Underground leader and wife of Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, referring to the Manson murders

Article: Obama’s Foul Weather Friends
By Scott Swett and Roger Canfield
“As a gesture of solidarity, the Vietnamese who [Bernardine] Dohrn met in Budapest presented her with a ring made from an American aircraft shot down over North Vietnam. Bill Ayers would receive a similar ring while meeting with Vietnamese communists in Toronto. He later recalled being so moved by the gesture that he ‘left the room to cry.’ He said, ‘I realized…America was an evil… and that I was… living inside the belly of the beast…’ ”
So, would Mr. Ayers do it all again, he is asked? “I don’t want to discount the possibility,” he said.
New York Times
September 11, 2001:
“No Regrets for a Love Of Explosives; In a Memoir of Sorts, a War Protester Talks of Life With the Weathermen”
‘Guilty as hell, free as a bird—America is a great country,’ he [Ayers] said.”
August 2001, Chicago Magazine (article: No Regrets)
WTF?! Colmes used to be a reasonable guy, a liberal yes, but reasonable. He’s really gone off the deep end this time. I remember when he was on Hannity & Colmes he was really tearing into this san francisco councilman who wanted to get rid of The Military. Now he’s interviewing a terrorist, Sheesh.
“The rights of neutrality will only be respected, when they are defended by an adequate power. A nation, despicable by its weakness, forfeits even the privilege of being neutral.” Alexander Hamilton
Alan Colmes was one personna on Fox News where he had a moderator to keep him in line, quite another personna on his radio show. That he softball’s Ayres is no surprise. It’s via assholes like Colmes and Larry King that terrorists gain legitimacy via a supple media. Nearly 59,000 Americans fought and died to uphold a protection pact, written by Democrats whereupon we agreed to protect our allies from Communist aggression and subsequently our own country from Communist aggression.
JohnE, IMO the only reason Alan Colmes took that stance was from his posturing, he never once felt anything deep in the soul, preferring to be contentious at all times for the sake of it.
Perhaps we all need a review of our international agreements and protection pacts at the time of Vietnam, We had been involved there since 1945 contrary to popular belief under Franklin D. Roosevelt and Harry S. Truman, once again during the fall of Dien Bien Phu between March and May 1954 under Dwight D. Eisenhower. The United States was involved, still supporting the French, installed back in 1945 by Truman. Two U.S. pilots, Wallace Buford and James “Earthquake McGoon” McGovern Jr., were killed in action during the siege of Dien Bien Phu. We equate that war with JFK and LBJ who escalated it and abandoned our troops on the battlefield. I have no love for Nixon or Ford either. U.S. Troops were sent to defend an ally, one that John F. Kennedy allowed to be assassinated, part of that Vietnam protection pact signed back at the surrender of the Japanese in Indochina, the confirmation signed by Truman at the Potsdam Conference, reinforcing the earlier capitulation of Eastern Europe to the Soviet Union as the spoils of war by Franklin D. Roosevelt at Yalta. Indochina’ fate was included in those pacts. Another great read is that of K. G. Sears, Ph.D. whom Linda has a copy of on her webpage.
Bill Ayres was and still is a domestic terrorists working hard against this nation and it’s former commitments to halt evil, he’s alive and revered by the left, by the usurper Marxist Obama and yes by that numbnuts Alan Colmes who lends him an outlet to flaunt his arrogance.
“If you are able, save for them a place inside of you and save one backward glance when you are leaving for the places they can no longer go.
Be not ashamed to say you loved them, though you may or may not have always. Take what they have taught you with their dying and keep it with your own.
And in that time when men decide and feel safe to call the war insane, take one moment to embrace those gentle heroes you left behind.

Great post Jack. Now on to my usual rant.
Why in the hell does this scum sucking pig even rate an interview. This son of a bitch belongs in jail, due to some stupid technicality he is not. He is free in the country he tried to destroy because of its justice system that even bastards like him are allowed to walk the streets of the USA. And still free to spout his venom. He is a punk and a coward. So is colmes for even interviewing the SOB.
We put Charles Manson in prison for the same reasons! He didn’t kill anyone, but he got others to do it for him. Ayers and his nasty little douchebag wifey belong in prison. He is a vile man with no regrets for his past. Some day, he will meet with the Maker and all hell will break loose on his ass and guess where he’ll end up. I feel sorry for his parents for raising such an idiot.
Do our treason laws even exist anymore? Ayers, Fonda, Kerry, and many more have blatantly committed treason…aiding and abetting the enemy….which has cost the U.S. thousands of lives and they are still allowed to walk free without so much as an ounce of legal action being taken against them.
We need to stop praising these vermin and exterminate them!!
At the end of WWII, the German leaders were not allowed off the hook. Even if it took years to track them down, they were. And once caught, they were tried and hanged!!! We need to do the same. We need to adopt the work code of the mafia….”You screw up and we kill you”!!
With their blatant admission of the crimes they have committed against this great Nation, Ayers, Fonda, and Kerry should all be taken out and hanged, shot or whatever means necessary to end their worthless lives. And don’t worry about a trial…..they forfeited their rights to a trial. Save the taxpayer some money for a change.
And when we finish with Ayers, Fonda and Kerry, we will need to get rid of Obama, Pelosi and Reid who are just as traitorous. (sp) I’d add Swimmwer Kennedy to the list but that asshole should be dead soon.
