Chávez Says He’d Talk With Obama ‘Any Day’
NY Times
CARACAS, Venezuela — President Hugo Chávez said Saturday that he was ready to engage in direct talks with President Obama in a bid to repair relations with the United States. The statement marked an evolution in Mr. Chávez’s view of Mr. Obama, whom he described last month as having the “same stench” as his predecessor in the White House.
“Any day is propitious for talking with President Barack Obama,” Mr. Chávez said at a news conference here with foreign journalists ahead of a referendum on Sunday that could open the way for him to hold on to power indefinitely. Mr. Chávez said he would be willing to meet with Mr. Obama before a summit meeting in April of Western Hemisphere nations. The White House has not yet responded.

Wild Thing’s comment…….
All of our enemies now want to talk with B.Hussein Obama, because they know what he is about. And he isn’t about the best interests of the United States.
One day we will probably see AP photos of Chavez, Obama and Amadinejad posing arm in arm.

Lynn says:

Because he knows Obama is weak. Obama will agree to anything–just look at the stimulus package. His strings can be pulled and he’ll jump everytime without thinking things through. Bush on the other hand wouldn’t stand for Chavez’s idiotic demands on us, so it made him made and he threw a temper tantrum like a little child.
We should be very afraid that Obama even wants to talk with the evil dictators of the world.

TomR says:

Chavez’s reign is coming apart in Venezuela, both politically and economically. He needs the appearance of Obama’s support. I bet Obama plays along.

Wacko Hugo A Go GO knows BRO BHO is limp and clueless. He is not afraid of Dr.ZhiCago “Mr. Yes We Can” community activist…

Mark says:

If Bobo and chavez both wear their Che T-shirts and hugo get a little more color in his face, they’d look like con-joined twins.

BT in SA says:

Well, he’ll probably have a chance to do just that. B. Hussein has a “spiffy” new ride. No kidding. He actually asked reporters on Air Force One, “Hey guys, what do you think of MY — this spiffy ride here?” [Source.] [Emphasis, mine.]
Again, not to make light of anyone with eating disorders – and I’ve never had one – but I have one now. Great for dieting. Eat. Read something about B. Hussein and … you get the idea.

Wild Thing says:

Lynn, I feel the same way, I am very concerned and afraid how Obama thinks just talking to these people will keep us safe. No sanctions no rules not standing up for America at all.

Wild Thing says:

Tom, that must be why Hugo has been trying to make it where he can be President forever and no more elections.
Yes I bet Obama goes along with be a friend of Hugo too.

Wild Thing says:

drstrangeloveb52isok, yes he isn’t afraid of Obama at all. I always remember how he hated Bush and called him Satan. ( actually a compliment to Bush not to be liked by the likes of Hugo)heh heh

Wild Thing says:

Mark, LMAO they would.

Wild Thing says:

BT in SA, oh my gosh! I had not heard about that, thank you so much for the link. What a thing to say.
LOL BT in SA, that is how I feel too when I read about him.
