Chrissie, thanks for posting this and James M. for sending it. The video and song gave me goose bumps and made me feel good all over. It reminds me of two huge and related things that President George W. Bush has done in office that if history is honest and fair will define his legacy as something nothing less that great. One, as both President and Commander-in-Chief, he has an unmatched mutual love and respect for our military and their families. Two, with this military at point, the United States liberated 50 million people in both Afghanistan and Iraq whose example has already permanently changed that part of the world for the better.
So, when all is said and done and history has time to put the last eight years in perspective with it’s past and future, George W. Bush and the military under his command liberating 50 million people will shine magnitudes brighter than anything Bill Clinton did or Barack Obama will do.

“Every time I’ve ever seen the president over these past eight years, he’s managed to talk about the keepers of the flame of freedom. Every time I’ve seen him give an address to military audiences, I’ve seen in the crowd a great respect for him and our country — a real enthusiasm informed by experience. The respect President Bush feels for soldiers and their families is mutual, as my friend told him during these last weeks in Washington, D.C. The love is mutual, she said.”

Jack says:

Thank you Chrissie and James M. That is a heart wrencher for sure, Our troops are our best ambassadors, they prove it every day.

RAC says:

Outstanding video and audio. These are the images that most Americans don’t get to see. This doesn’t fit the liberal media’s “cold-blooded killers” image of our troops…. God bless them all.

Wild Thing says:

Les, yes the love really is mutual. Thank you for the link and the information too.

Wild Thing says:

Jack, yes they really do prove it every day.

Wild Thing says:

RAC, yes, the media would not like seeing a video like this. They would have to admit how much our troops are appreciated. Big smile.

TomR says:

Our troops are America’s best ambassadors. There is a generation of kids growing up in Iraq that will question the old ways of thinking there. They have interacted with our troops and they will be less liable to the radical teachings of the imams.
