Marine To Sue Murtha Over Haditha ~ Good!

Haditha Marine prepares to sue Murtha over smear

Congressman had accused soldiers of killing ‘in cold blood’
With most of the eight Marines charged in the Haditha, Iraq, incident now exonerated, the highest-ranking officer among the accused is considering a lawsuit against Democratic Rep. John Murtha, who fueled the case by declaring the men cold-blooded killers.
In an interview with nationally syndicated radio talk host Michael Savage, the lead attorney for Lt. Col. Jeffrey Chessani said he and his client will look into suing Murtha and the Time magazine reporter, Tim McGuirk, who first published the accusations by Iraqi insurgents.

Lt. Col. Jeffrey Chessani

But the attorney, Brian Rooney, said nothing will happen immediately because he wants Chessani, described as a devout Christian and the father of six homeschooled children, completely “out of the woods” legally before any action is taken. The government, through Lt. Col. S.M. Sullivan, today filed a notice that it would appeal the case to the next judicial level.

Wild Thing’s comment……..
Give that traitorous Mullah Murtha hell. I hope all 8 of the Marines join in on this. There is still one more Marine to face charges.

OOOOH RAH!!!

TomR says:

I hope a number of lawsuits go through against Murtha, McGuirk and Time Magazine. I also hope that these are jury trials. It would be difficult to imagine twelve ordinary citizens who would not be repulsed by John Murtha’s arrogance.
Murtha is probably quivering with each acquittal. He has to realize that his big mouth may have finally fired off more than he can chew.
There are also some ranking Marine officers that need to be shot down for less than honorable conduct to their men.

Bob says:

How quickly will congress enact legislation exempting a sitting congressman from lawsuits over what they say in public?

Jack says:

I’ll support these men against Murtha. Darth, sorry, your link is incomplete it should be.

I just wish the aquittals were not without prejudice, this leaves the prosecution in a position to trump up more charges in the persecution of good Marines. Murtha and the Democrats have put themselves on a self rightious pedestal placing themselves above the law. Murtha and Biden being amongst the worst of the lot. This word describes many in the Democrat and RINO ranks, those who willingly destroy our constitution and way of life, whether it’s by armed innsurrection, aid and comfort to our enemies or legislating away our freedom.

Darth, thank you.

Wild Thing says:

Tom, I agree, all of these, Murtha, McGuirk and Time Magazine, should be delt with big time.

Wild Thing says:

Bob there is that too, they will step in fast if he really gets a lot of heat. But it sure would be great to see him taken down. It is worth a try that’s for sure. There just has to be real justice somehow.

Wild Thing says:

Jack, thanks I tired the other one and it didn’t work. I have done that too sometimes.
Thank you for the other link as well.
I agree, it does describe other dems too.

Les says:

The wheels of justice run slow, but hopefully, this lawsuit to sue Murtha gets traction and becomes a national issue against Democrats in the general election November 4th.

Wild Thing says:

Les, that would be great.
