McCain “I will win in January”

Wild Thing’s comment…….
In showbiz there is an unspoken rule, it isn’t a real rule but it more like a law of averages of …….
don’t do this kind of thing.
Most people that have been in films and TV learn this quickly.
Here it is:
When you get an acting job in a film or TV show , there is a contract you sign each and every time. This is done no matter if you have a one day job on the filming or weeks or months and also it is done with everyone from all actors, stunt people, and anyone connected to the filming in anyway. With this there is a promise you will have the job and you promising you will do it.
Now let’s say you have worked on the film or TV show and your part is done being filmed. The next thing might be you want to share about this with your friends or family that, what you had done, the name of the show etc. But their is a catch to doing this too that is a risk until it actually airs.
You could end up on the cutting room floor, entire scenes can be taken out and there is nothing you can do about it. It is not unusual for this to happen to any and all actors, major celebs to day players. So there is a risk factor in yakking about your job you finished to too many people. Especially people that don’t realize this and might end up saying you didn’t tell the truth.
You still get paid for your work and yes in reality you have been in the film or TV show but the end product shows otherwise.
Most jobs are not like this, most jobs you get a job and the celebration can begin with confidence in that job.
When McCain or anyone running like this says they WILL win, yes it is a psychological thing to do, to rev up the masses into being positive of a win so hang in there with me, jump on board with me I will be a winner etc.
But it also can jinx the outcome as well. Plus the fact that McCain made a slight mistake of saying “January” and not November. No biggie but the media could say he is senile from this and use it against him. It is an honest mistake and in the end game the win is fulfilled in January anyway.
When I saw this it made me think about speaking too soon like I said about showbiz, and how it sometimes can set the jinx in to motion. Superstitious yes but all things add up when a win is desired imo.
If McCain wants a win he is better with framing his words with a we CAN win in November rather then his I WILL win.
Just some thoughts I had on this.
But then also what do I know. LOL
OK.
I’ll see him, and raise him one month! I’ll win in February! So there! heh heh
And I suppose Obama is predicting he will win wins 55 of all 57 states he has counted. hahaha
Then there were the elections with Bush, a win in November but not a WIN till January with all the dmes wanting the CHADS counted and recounted. sheesh

Lynn says:

This is going to be one of the most screwed up elections ever! A Howdy Doody Muslim and a wrinkled up Rino. Not another LEARNING experience!
McPain doesn’t realize–it’s not that easy. He isn’t going to get the young vote. The youngsters want to be spoon fed and won’t listen to anyone with experience.
It’s not that easy. I thought with all my experience, I could get a job right away when I lost mine last August. Wrong-o! It took me nearly a year! So McPain needs to get off his high horse.
I’m half tempted to vote for “None of the Above.”

Jack says:

LOL, I’m in tears here, that is the gospel, Chrissie. Excellent advice.
Don’t ever count your eggs before they are hatched. A bit over 20 years back several of us were in the crosshairs for an especially ugly job and not wanting to go. Only one guy wanted it, he had never been farmed out by the company and he went on a tirade about how he was the one going, naturally we blew smoke his way, he really was pumped, he was going to show us all where the bear went in the woods once he got in charge. As ‘D’ day approached he went so far as to cancel his vacation he was so confident that he had it in the bag. The company clipped the big boy’s wings and selected someone else, he had bragged too much and it bit him in the backside. I was sent to the Cleveland, Oh. area for 4 months then pulled off that project and sent to Tustin, Ca. for 2 months to finish what would have been his job. It affected his ego to the point that he quit while I was on the road. Unfortunately he was universally disliked amongst the operations group as well as his peer group, he was what we termed “a legend in his own mind”. McCain exhibits the same symptoms.
Lynn has some sage advice, me too,it is not easy to find a good job but after 50 experience means little, aged goods in an aging workforce, you darn near have to buy a job, experience is shelved. Isn’t that what’s happening to the presidency? We are buying inexperience at one hell of a cost.
I think all is lost for the conservatives in the presidential arena but a massive write in for the candidate that didn’t want to be, Fred Thompson, might open some eyes in both parties as to our dissatisfaction.

Mark says:

I hope he wins. I know the lesser of two evils. Lynn thinks the same way as my wife, Obama is a closet muslem, and as soon as he is elected all the mask will come off.
A lot of people want to teach the RNC a lesson by not voting for McCain but I think we are really doing ourselves an injustice and a disservice to our country.
I can not not vote and I can not vote for Obama. The man is evil.

Janette says:

Hrmph.
I’ll make a bet: If John McCain wins I’ll come down and give you and Nick free massages, (one of my many state licensed talents). Heck, I’ll even volunteer to do lawn work, clean the pool, walk the dog or fluff the teddy bears! I seriously doubt I’ll have to pay up.
😛
The Republican party made a major mistake in paying off their debt for McCain dropping out gracefully in 2000.
Personally, I’m still thinking about dropping out of the Republican party. (I have the form printed out and filled in, every day I flirt with mailing it in.) Whether I do or not I WILL NOT vote for John McCain in November. Neither will Golf Guy, or my mother, or any number of other Floridians I know.
John McCain, “lesser or two evils”, yes. But the Republican party will NEVER return to its roots (the base) unless it has incentive.

Wild Thing says:

Lynn, it sure is, it is like a crazy nightmare but we are all living it and like that I’ve fallen and I can’t get up we can’t wake up from the nightmare. hahaa
Nicholas is voting for McCain, he can’t stand him, not even a little. But he is right too and says Obama will totally destroy this country of ours.
If I do vote and don’t do a none of the above, it would be for McCain and if I do that I will do it with the premise I will lay into him hard for every breath he takes I don’t like. Maybe even send him stuff about his POW trashing he did in emails or something. I won’t hand over the war on conservartives being pushed out easily. haha I would rather go down with blood on my sword and bullets flying. hahha So to speak anyway.
What gets me are the phony conservatives that have been FOR McCain from almost the beginning. Those people I have a hard time ever going to their blogs again.
It is different to decide to vote for him the last couple of months, we have no other choice. Many people have done it that way and I respect that and understand it very much. Because Obama is pure evil and his wife too.

Wild Thing says:

Jack, LMAO thanks for sharing about that guy. That is so funny.
And yes the RNC and GOP don’t love us conservatives anymore. I would send them a bouquet of DEAD roses if it would help. heh heh

Wild Thing says:

Mark that is the thing. OH we can not vote and maybe the RNC will notice, but I honestly don’t think they give a hoot.
Nick is voting for McCain and he can’t stand him either.
For me after all this stuff about Obama it will have to be a vote for McCain….. but in my heart I would much rather put down none of the above. We can’t here it is electic where we vote and no way to write anyone in if I wanted to.
I am just too terrified of Obama and his plans and connections to destroy America even worse then McCain will destroy it.

Wild Thing says:

Janette, LMAO well that’s OK, no thanks. Not sure what to think of all of that. But a polite no thank you from me. haha
If McCain wins I will be sick to my stomach that it could not have been Duncan Hunter my guy from day one.
It is so sad that when I said I was voting for Hunter at the very beginning I was told by a few phony conservatives he was too conservative. sigh and now we are stuck with the rino I guess those people always wanted this to happen, since they wanted nothing to do with Hunter or Thompson back then.
If Obama wins I will be out target shooting to get rid of my anger about what he and his POS ugly white hating America hating wife ending up winners.
I never said lesser of two evils Janette. McCain is the same evil as Obama just without the Muslim conncection and the Black Panthers.
IF I vote for McCain it will be because I am hoping to keep a bunch of Muslim freaks from more and more getting into our government. It is not a voter for McCain, it would be a vote against Obama.
Meanwhile, I will never stop posting the truth about McCain POW hater ever or Obama and his wife.
McCain is my enemy as much as Obama is.
