Dick Cheney stole the show at the Radio-TV Correspondents Dinner this past Wednesday night.
Cheney even critics himself and the jokes as he tells them. LMAO hahahahahahaa
LMAO they are very funny. These video’s is worth watching.
Here are two of them:
“You in the press need to go easy on Senator Clinton on the whole business about running and ducking from gunfire in Bosnia. She made an honest mistake. She confused the Bosnia trip with the time I took her hunting.”
“Speaking of Vice President Gore, I’m sorry to relate that he’s a little bit sore at me. He’s convinced that on global warming, I just don’t get it. But lately with every passing day the evidence has been catching my attention. I have no doubt, none at all, that we are in the midst of a global warming, or, as I prefer to call it, spring. And I don’t want to sound like an alarmist, but it’s going to get a lot warmer before it gets cooler.”
Top 10 Reason’s Mitt Romney got out of the race
I will forever be angered at Huckabee for ruining Romney’s shot at the primary win.
Just a thought, but one that bothers me. Both of these men, Cheney and Romney actively avoided military service during Vietnam. Perhaps I should be more open minded than I am, but this fact does bother me. So much so that I have never gotten on the Cheney popularity bandwagon.
Somebody went in their place, and perhaps was killed or maimed. Now, both of these men, like too many other Vietnam avoiders, want to “serve their country”, but in a non dangerous way and with lots of perks, prestige and glory.
I will carry this active distaste for the Vietnam avoiders to my death. Other Vietnam vets may have put it aside or even don’t care. I care for the 58,000 plus on The Wall and can never hold great admiration for the ones that opted out.
Funny!
At least Dick Cheney isn’t afraid to “mince” words and he tells it like it is. I like a man who calls it as he sees it. My father did, my husband does. I think that’s why I like Archie Bunker so much–he was a mess of a man, but he loved his wife, daughter, son in law, grandson and niece, Stephanie.
I agree that the President and Commander in Chief should have some military experience, even if they were left here in America during a war time or a Police action.
If you never served, how do you know what the military needs or wants?
But these were cute. And it’s true–All Gorey and Hitlery Cliton are both full of hot air and have mashed potatoes for brains.
Tom, I agree with both of your comments.
I will never forgive Huckabee for the sly thing he did along with McCain in Virginia. That was really dirty and no one held Huckabee to the fire for it. He is a slimy man and I felt it from the beginning.
Tom, all the males in my family served our country. It would have been unheard of for any of them not to. Even some of my Aunts served as nurses, one in the Vietnam War and others in WW11.My family came here from Switzerland where everyone is in the military till old age. Not that they actually are fighting as we know stupid Switzerland has a thing about being neutral most of the time, but they do have a military and all are in it.
My feelings about Cheney and Romney and any one actually that has actively avoided military service in our country will have like a notch against them. An area that I cannot respect about them, not matter who they are.
I like Cheney and Romney a lot especially Cheney. But there will always be that area of military service that yes I agree with you I have no respect for them. They made a choice and it was wrong. They cannot take back what they did no matter what they do the rest of their lives.
I can’t help how I feel about this and there is no way I can change that either. I have Uncles that were in Battle of the Bulge and lost a leg, another in the Battle of Chosin Reservoir that was a disabled Vet as well with frozen feet and legs up to his knees. One that was in the Invasion of Normandy. Another that had PTSD so bad it is what killed him actually. Another that served in the Korean War and also Vietnam. And several others that also served in WW11. Every single armed forces is represented in my family.
And another relative that served in the Union Army in the Civil War. John Jacob Altorfer.
So yes I agree with what you said with all my heart. Avoiding service during war like the Vietnam War is unforgivable. That is another reason why Bill Clinton is my mortal enemy, that is why I bought my first computer when I found out we had a President that was a draft dodger and it was ok with so many people. I will never forgive Bill Clinton or those that voted for the POS.
Thank you for saying what you did Tom.
Lynn, yes I wish it was a requirement that anyone running for President had to have military service.
I feel that VP Dick Cheney has lived a blessed life. His resume is as … patriotic and selfless as they come. His calling was to be VP Dick Cheney and I am thankful for this actuality. Lynne
Cheney is a patriot as well. Wonderful AMERICANS and our nation should realize this during these pathetic secular and materialistic times…But the beauty of this nation is that we can respectfully agree to disagree at times.
