Charlton Heston spoke so well for our freedom, and obligation, to be armed. Please heed his words. Go now and buy a gun and ammunition while you still can. Two of our presidential candidates are adamently anti gun. They will be very happy to pass and enforce more gun laws with the ultimate goal of disarming the populace.
John McCain’s stance on guns is unknown and questionable. He has already shown a disregard for the Bill of Rights, especially the First Amendment. There is no reason to doubt that he may not think much of the Second Amendment and join the anti gunners.
Buy now while you have the opportunity and freedom to purchase a fearm. Hell, buy often. January 2009 is getting close..
I toyed for a long time about becoming a lifetime and voting NRA member, it’s not a perfect organization and it has it’s detractors and dimwits who think it’s all about hunting and target shooting, they forget all about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. We saw the usurpation of civil rights in New Orleans and the confiscation of private firearms instead of the arrest and conviction of the looters and criminals, the NRA pitched a bitch.
“A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
The NRA and Charleton Heston stood in the chasm of anarchy and steadfastly defended the 2nd amendment as well as the 1st amendment, in fact they defend all of the Bill of Rights, for without any one of them the rest will be subverted and disappear. Jim Zumbo the Hunting Editor for Outdoor Life magazine and sports writer held the same misconceptions, that firearms were only for a certain class of american, the hunter, and that semi-automatic firearms had no place in the field. Well it cost Jimbo his job at Outdoor Life and his NRA membership, you either believe in the constitution or you don’t, you can’t skew it to fit only your perception or the whims of the moment. George H W Bush made a very public denunciation and quitting of his NRA membership before the nation’s media cameras, in a bid to garner the anti-gunners vote, it cost him my support and what little respect I had held for him up to that point.
One other thing, the UN was formed by and for Communists for the purpose of making the world compliant to a one world government under Communism. I mentioned Public Law 87-297, that threat is very real, Jorge believes in it as did Jorge senior. We disenfranchised don’t have much choice this election but we can and must keep on our toes and hold these slimy politicians to their sworn oaths. This doesn’t mean that I trust McCain as far as I can toss him.
Senator John McCain led off among Presidential candidates and spoke of his long history of working with the NRA. “When I first ran for Congress in 1982, I was proud to have the support of gun owners and the National Rifle Association. For more than two decades, I’ve opposed the efforts of the anti-gun crowd to ban guns, ban ammunition, ban magazines, and paint gun owners as some kind of fringe group; dangerous in ‘modern’ America. Some even call you ‘extremists.’ My friends, gun owners are not extremists, you are the core of modern America.”
Somehow I don’t feel that McCain is sincere, I think everything he does is a preplanned and calculated move to advance Communism, but that is only my opinion.
Tom is right, we don’t know nor can we trust McCain and his fecklessness toward our Constitutional guarantees. The other two lizards are definitely going to go for your guns and destroy the constitution and all your rights.
Think about what the forefathers risked when they declared independence from King George and the subsequent war of independence, they put heir lives and futures on the line for us, the least we can do is protect that trust. That was what Charlton Heston was all about.

Tom, thank you so much.
I have tried to find how McCain feels about guns, but so far nothing of a strong stance on it. At lesast I can’t find anything.
Jack, thank you so much. Really interesting informaion.
Thanks too for the McCain quote, I am feel the same is it for real how he feels or not.
Great quotes, thank you and so true too.
I detest scumbag Bill Clinton, but I do agree with his following remark in 2001: “…. The NRA is the main reason that kept Al Gore from winning the White House in 2000.” Thank-You CHUCK HESTON!
