Well I am watching CPAC and Laura Ingraham introduced Mitt Romney. Mitt gave an AWESOME speech and then he pulled out of the race. I am crying, yep I am. Sorry but this is so horrible. Mitt was coming further and further more and more conservative. And now what do we have left is a traitor to our POW’s, to our security with his Amnesty obsession and a whiner jerk Huckabee. God help us. I will NOT be voting for a President for the first time in my life. I WILL like I said vote to get conservatives in the congressional races. DAMN just Damn!
To all the so called conservatives that want McCain enjoy the monster you are working so hard to elect. I doubt the POW’s left behind will thank you though.
Just one last thing, a HUGE thank you to Team Theodore, gosh I love you all so much.

Yep, enjoy that George Soros monster. I will have no choice in my vote counting. Anyone in states who don’t vote on SuperTuesday have all been disenfranchised. It’s over–done. My hubby was saying that Fred ought to get back in as a third party just to screw it up, but Fred won’t do that.
Our next President will be either a RINO, a MARXIST or a MUSLIM. Those of you who wanted this so bad, start crying now because the America we grew up in will be gone in 4 years. We will be a third world nation and the war on terror will be on this soil. Is this what you wanted?
What about my kids and yours? Your grandchildren? Don’t they deserve better than what you’re willing to give them? You are so angry over 8 years of Bush (and you blame him for everything) that you don’t look into what kind of change these three are thinking of.
For sure this smelly thing left in the catbox now that Romney is gone will be polished, perfumed and passed off as a diamond in the rough. Watch how many former pundits switch their positions, trying to convince us that he’s a conservative and puts the nation and it’s sovereignty first.
It’s a sad day for the country. History has always triumphed in man’s inhumanity to man, appeasing our enemies is what they are all about, globalism under Communism. They have ignored the time honored enemy, Satan, dressed in their thobes and burqa’s practicing their death cult to force the rest of the world their way. What happened was pure Machiavellian maneuvering by the GOP.
But Machiavelli had another truth as evidenced in the war to end all wars, WWI, all those pacts and treaties from the Quislings, Neville Chamberlain even FDR(Yalta) and Truman(Potsdam) and their WWII grants to appease the Soviet Union, have guaranteed the proxie wars we are still fighting. China, Iran, North Korea and Russia are still being appeased.
There is no avoiding war; it can only be postponed to the advantage of others.
Niccolo Machiavelli
“Appeasement is the strategic manouerver, based on either pragmatism, fear of war, or moral conviction, that leads to the adopting a non-agressive or non-retaliative stance towards agressors.”
So this means , in layman terms, that an Obama, Clinton or McCain foreign and domestic policy means we’ll give you what you want as long as you don’t hurt us or start a war.
And we the taxpayer will fund our own funerals.
John McCain is a political POW/MIA.
Promoter Of Wrongs/Master In Amnesty
If you are upset now, wait until he announces his running mate. I don’t know who it will be, but now that McCain has a basically free run to the nomination, he can pick anyone he wants. I have a hunch we will all puke.
Lynn, sorry, but I think George W Bush contributed to this situation with his “compassionate conservatism” which was socialism in thin disguise. This helped weaken the Repub Party and led to the Dem gains in ’06.
Tom’s right. Compassionate Conservatism wasn’t an ideology or a coherent set of principles, it was a free-floating compulsion on the part of one man to be generous with the assets of America.
I think Bush even said that “when people are hurting, government has to move”, although I can’t find the source of that quote. He even wants government to “move” for people who over-extended themselves in the housing market. This is simply liberalism, which among other things is the constant, endless search for the next human need.
You can’t modify conservatism with “compassionate”, because it isn’t an ideology that has distinctions. Ideologies are systems to alter or amend reality by the use of power and coercion. Bush paved the way for McCain by failing to solidify or even define conservatism, which left only the natural appeal of the liberal siren song of gimme, gimme, gimme, and gripe, gripe, gripe.
Bush didn’t kill conservatism, he let it die by indifference to it.
No doubt Bush’s compassionate Conservativism has it dirty little hand written all over it. Also, though I think this is the party’s way of getting even with us conservatives for raising such hell over Bush-McCain-Kennedy Immigration Bill and the Harriet Myers nomination.
Certain members of the Republican party want us to be an all inclusive club where everyone is welcome. How can you belong to a conservative party if you are not conservative.
So I think the lines are drawn and it will be a fight to the death of what was once a great party. That has now run amok, with liberals and pro-choice rino republicans. These are the same Rinos who want to sell Israel down the drain and support abortion.
So if that is the route they want to take … To that I say No Thanks.
Well all the rino pundits are out trying to drum up support for their wounded whale McCain. The message of course is ,….Welllll(whiney), you know he not as conservative as we would like but… we got to support him.
Not McCain but his flunkies are out in full force trying to beat us conservatives back into the plantation. Bill Bennet, Karl Rove, and a couple others who I have seen before but don’t remember their names.
Everyone of these flunkies are squirting the same line, …We got to get behind McCain, now… NO jackass not me… After McCain practically destroyed Mitt Romney we are supposed to all fall in formation and salute this piece of dirt, rino, who wanted to shove down our throats an Amnesty Bill …And not have it open for any debate AT ALL… that would have cost us almost a trillion dollars. Suddenly all past transgressions are to be forgotten, this runs parallel with bringing the Terrorists jailed in Gitmo to the United States… Makes perfect sense….NOT.
And if McCain is going to secure the borders First, why does he have Juan Hernandez as an advisor ?
Oh, who is the blond with McCain, his daughter or some Vegas bimbo… The President of the United States and the first bimbo.
But One positive thing came out of all of this, Orin Hatch was on the Glen Beck show and said, Romney did not quit, he suspended his campaign, he did not surrender his delegates, so basically he is still in the race, on hold. So he will be on the ballot in the remaining primary states. So when the Pa primary comes by in april I will vote for him.
If he doesn’t make it the in November, I write in ‘NONE OF THE ABOVE”
Lynn, people in general don’t look into candidates at all. You and I and those of us on here we all do, but a lot of people just vote party. Or who there friends say they are voting for.
I have talked to people at the gym and they tell me they are voting for let’s say Obama because he wants change. Hillary because she is a woman. Or McCain because he is for the illegals and they should be able to work here and given things. SHEESH!
Jack yes it is a sad day.
“What happened was pure Machiavellian maneuvering by the GOP.”……that sure says it all!
Les he sure is. Good one Les!!
Tom, someone at the VA yesterday said Liberman but I thought the VP had to be a registered Republican.
Yes Bush is very much to blame for the weakening of our party.
Rhod exactly.
Here is the link to Bush’s speech where he said that.
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2003/09/20030901.html
“We have a responsibility that when somebody hurts, government has got to move. And that’s why we’ve signed extensions to the unemployment insurance, so people can get their feet back on the ground. Elaine’s department, the Department of Labor, passes out emergency grants for people who are hurting to cover health care costs and child care costs and other critical needs. And that’s a useful role for the government.”
Mark, I am glad to hear that about Romney. I hope he sticks to it and does not give anything to McCain or Huck.
Thanks for the information too about what is being said. Amazing!
Mark, I think the next time I hear a politician say compassionate conservative I will choke.
To the RNC:
Don’t try to piss on my boots and tell me it’s raining.
Glenn Beck had an interesting thought today……Romney is a professional businessman and the thought is that he is putting his bid on hold to see what the economy is going to do. If the economy goes into the crapper like so many think it is going to do and is doing, then he can come back with a business plan and may be able to get back into the race even stronger than now. It’s a long shot but that is how a successful businessman works….he assesses the situation and then moves when the timing is right.
Look guys, I hate this as much as anyone but the game ain’t over till the fat lady sings and I haven’t heard her screaming …….yet. We may have an injured player but the game isn’t over. I was on a conservative web blog the other day (damn….can’t remember which one…..old age setting in) and they were discussing getting some of our military vets that have served in the Middle East into the Senatorial and House races. These are men and women who are conservative and know what the stakes are……kind of like Duncan Hunter and his son. There are several States that could be changed if we all work hard at it. We can take back this country be replacing the Rino’s and Libs one slimebag at a time.
Rick good one, I agree. I like that saying!!
John, thank you for the information about Romney. I would love for that to happen. I emailed him that I am going to keep wearing my Romney t-shirts and keep his magnet sticker on my car just in case.
John, you have a good memory. I am not sure if this is where you saw it or not. But I did a post called
"Time
for some real straight talk"
on Feb. 5th. and Yankeemom commented this….
“This would be thigh-slapping funny if it weren’t reality.
I keep my hope in this generation of young men and women who are coming home from war and seeing clearly for the first time what liberty means and how we’re losing it at home. So many Soldiers and Marines I’ve spoken with are gunning for the Dems (not liking the Dems’ kind of troop support). Some are seriously thinking about politics and others are wanting to be teachers. There will be a change. You can’t build up a troop to be self-sufficient, a leader, honorable and loyal and brave and then expect him or her to roll over and be controlled by a Nanny State. Sheepdogs aren’t wired that way.
