VIENNA, Austria – Iran has told the International Atomic Energy Agency to remove surveillance cameras and agency seals from sites and nuclear equipment that go beyond minimal commitments to the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty by mid-February, the IAEA said Monday.
In a confidential report to the IAEA’s 35 board member nations dated Monday and made available to The Associated Press, agency head Mohamed ElBaradei said Iran also announced a sharp reduction in the number and kind of inspections IAEA experts will be allowed, effective immediately.
Wild Thing’s comment………
Jimmy Carter is the reason Iran is what it is today.
Shoot, we don’t need to send in any troops or anything like that. Just a few lazar guided bunker busters simultaneously launched on their facilities from B-2’s will take care of their program and the world’s problem. If we took out their facilities, what are they going to do about it? It’s not like they can launch their fleet and sail to America’s shores and invade us. They don’t possess any deployment capability so there goes an airborne invasion. All their going to do is burn pictures of Bush and flags while rioting in the streets killing each other.
Bob I love this..”bunker busters”……heh heh and a yesss.
You’re right, WT. Carter’s failures go on and on. Noticed in the Washington Times today that a coalition of the willing (or military action) against Iran including Turkey, Saudi Arabia and others is taking shape.
Iran’s ambitions in the region aren’t only nuclear, but reflect the dominating habits of Persians over local Arabs. They’re complicating things for a whole lot of people in the ME.
Rhod, you are right and it gets confusing to me sometimes. It feels like I learn one thing then other things are involved. Then add in that dealing with the countries we have to confront is hard because they lie so much and their words means nothing. Even signing a contract is fluff to them. Gosh I could be writing about liberals. haha very similar.
Things seem to be happening so fast now,it seems like the fast tempo began with the Hamas being elected then followed with the cartoons.
