All of a sudden feeling really sick

I am so sorry, it is 23:00 Tuesday night and I have chills, my eyes hurt and even my teeth hurt. I am going to do one post for Wed. morning and go to bed early. Again I am so sorry.
I hope nothing huge is happening in the world, I hate to miss anything.

Jack says:

So sorry to hear you are ill, #2 grandson has had a sore throat for over a week, on Penicillin to boot. Today he was put on Amoxycillin and tomorrow goes to a throat specialist, what was a strep throat now looks like some staph infection. Don’t take any chances, there is some mighty ugly stuff going around. Maybe some of Red’s hot sauce will lighten the mood. Get well soon.

Les says:

Chrissie – Sorry to hear that you are not well. Stay in bed and have Nick bring you plenty of hot chicken soup. There is another remedy that you can try. Drink a lot of cups of hot tea with a shot of booze in each one. It may not cure what ails you but you will feel a lot better about being sick.
Don’t worry about the world. Your friends will watch it for you and there will be plenty of happenings for you to report and sound off on when you are feeling better.

Rick says:

Hey, even Super Girl needed some downtime every once in a while.
Take good care of yourself and be back when you’re able.
M’wah!

Rick says:

(In case the first one didn’t go thru.)
Hey, even Super Girl needed some downtime every once in a while!
Take care of Chrisse and be back when you`re able.
M’whah!

TomR says:

Could it be exhaustion Chrissie? When do you rest? I hope some good rest will take care of your problem, and lots of liquid. There have been a few people around here who have had symptoms of a flu, even those folks who had a flu shot. It seems to last only about 24hrs. Keep us updated, we will be pulling for ya.

Mark says:

Take care of yourself, we need you. And as Tom says, hopefully it is only a 24 hour bug. And you will be back to normal.

Get better Chrissie!

BobF says:

Hope you get to feeling better real soon. Take care of yourself.

John says:

Chrissie – I am so sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well. I, like the others, hope that it is of very short duration and that you are back on your feet really soon. This will give you time to get the necessary rest you need. And the Hot Toddies that Les suggested are excellent for getting you better. He forgot to mention though that you need to take a really hot bath either just before drinking the tea/booze mix or while drinking it. I agree that if they don’t cure the flu at least you won’t feel the pain!!!! LOL Get well soon WT – we all love and miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wild Thing says:

Jack, LOL thanks for the link to the hot sauce.
And thanks for the well wishes, I hope your grandson gets well really soon.
I am feeling much better, but stayed home today. I actually slept for 8 hours and that helped a lot, plus I took some left over anti-biotics I had from last year. I tend to not like to take them all just in case I need on in the future.

Wild Thing says:

Les, thank you so much. Your right, Nick made me some chicken soup last night and I then lots of sleep helped a lot. Sleep is a wonderful medicine.

Wild Thing says:

Hi Rick thank you so much. love the M’whah!

Wild Thing says:

Tom, thank you so much, yes it must have been. I stay up into the wee hours of the morning, and then still put in a normal day. haha I think it caught up with me.
Nick always gets the flu shot and I never do since my immune system has always been pretty powerful. But since having a blog my sleep hours have changed in a big way.

Wild Thing says:

Mark, thank you so much, I am feeling so much better. I haven’t had chills and fever like that for probably years.

Wild Thing says:

Patrick thank you so much. I am feeling so much better.

Wild Thing says:

Bob thank you, I am doing much better. And will take a nap later just to make sure. I hate to get sick especially at my favorite time of year.

Wild Thing says:

John, LOL love it…..”if they don’t cure the flu at least you won’t feel the pain!!!!”…..
My Dad used to make a hot brandy, he always said it made him sweat out the flu/cold. I never saw him do that except a couple of times when he really felt sick. I should have tried it.
Thanks John and I feel much better. I took one of my old anti-biotics I had saved for emergencies haha and a hot tea, 2 asprin and bed. It worked thank goodness.

Jack says:

Thanks Chrissie, glad you’re back:)
