Coalition forces engaged an ambush site and fighting positions of anti-Iraqi forces near Ba’qubah on June 9, 2007, in response to an ambush launched from the location earlier in the day.
Love those Apaches. In Vietnam our noisey whump-whump Hueys had no stand off range like the Apache. The Hueys had to go in close and mix it up with the enemy. The Apache can stand off and hunt from out of earshot and use it’s visual technology and guided missles to bring smoke on Mohammed.
