I really like Duncan Hunter. As far as I know, he has consistantly been a man of principal, not one who goes with the wind. He is a Vietnam vet, served in a Ranger(LRRP) unit.
Yes, Fred Thompson is the man for Conservatives right now. He is “prettier” in many ways. However, my first choice is Hunter. His consistancy and loyalty to conservative values have proven to me that he is honest and steadfast.
Another person I don’t want to leave out is John Bolton. I am fed up with the wishy-washy people in the Bush Administration. I want people who really are what they say and stick to what they present, no more false labels. My dream team would be Hunter/Bolton. I am not ruling out Thompson. I just don’t know enough about him yet.
What a team that would be Tom, both outspoken demanding patriots unafraid to take the high road, Duncan Hunter has had his boots on the ground and had the same homecoming these ratbastards gave us, I doubt he’d ever commit our troops to a committed failure and then abandon them.
I’m a bit uneasy about Fred but not in the sense of the unease I had and have about Arnold Swartzenegger, it’s the actor that I’m concerned about, he’s polished but is he truly sincere?
Thompson isn’t married to the Kennedy clan to my knowledge so that’s a plus. I refuse to compromise my morals to elect another RINO to office, like many, I voted for Ross Perot for the same reasons in ’93, I didn’t like Bush senior then nor do I now, we got 8 years of Billary as a result. Blind party loyalty doesn’t work when that loyalty isn’t reciprocal. Both of the Bush Socialsts have left me with a bad taste, and an intense dislike for the RNC. I’ll vote my conscience or not vote at all before I’ll support another Democrat in a Republican suit.

Tom wow would I LOVE that.
Hunter/Bolton
That has my vote for sure.
Jack I agree 100%.
