“While coming back from Orlando after gathering with some friends for a few days, I was stuck in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. I saw what looks like a Army soldier.
Later I saw two more. After my gate was switched, I saw around 20, give or take, soldiers coming out of the gate. It felt like that Budweiser commercial honoring the troops. When I was on the flight going home,
I notice the two soldiers were in the same plane. I got to the lobby of the airport and saw balloons and cameras waiting. I knew it was for the two soldiers. I wanted to catch the couple hugging and kissing each other but the guy in yellow blocked my way. It was very moving and I’m glad I witnessed this. “
Wild Thing’s comment….
A friend sent this to me and I wanted to share it with you. Thank you Peter and again please thank your brother for serving our country.
God bless our troops and their families.
Outstanding. This shows that most Americans on the street actually support our troops. Now if we can just get the Dem and RINO hemmorhodial tissue in Congress to do the same.
Wonderful WT, unlike 35 years ago where the soldiers were the targets of the anarchist malcontents who took out their cowardly self frustrations and hatred on their very own countrymen. If that scene had been at Seattle-Tacoma Airport it’s likely the surrender monkeys would have been there flinging their poo at the soldiers. I’m glad there is still some civility and respect for our troops who have to do the dirty job of protecting us and our families. There is an old saying “for those who’ve fought for it, freedom has a taste the protected will never know” this is obvious with the class of incumbent now occupying the halls of the House and Senate. Thank you soldiers!!!
Tom, haha I love how you put that.
Jack, wonderful comment, thank you so much.
