Congratulations Greg Abbott on your primary win!

Greg Abbott is committed to preserving Texas as the land of liberty and freedom. He discusses issues like protecting the Second Amendment, securing Texas’ robust economy and keeping government small.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott won Tuesday’s primary for the GOP gubernatorial nomination in the Lone Star State, the Associated Press reports.
Abbott, who has served under current Governor Rick Perry (R) since 2002, defeated a small field of Republican opponents, including radio host Lisa Fritsch.
The attorney general will face off against state Sen. Wendy Davis (D) in November’s general election.
The 56-year-old Abbott has been attorney general since 2003 and is a former Texas Supreme Court justice.

Wild Thing’s comment.……….
God bless Gregg Abbott and congratulations. I hope he wins again in November.

TomR,armed in Texas says:

All the way Greg, all the way. He was one of several Tea Party picks that won. Several other Tea Party picks lost. However, all the winneres meet the definition of conservative. In Texas even the less conservative are still quite conservative especially by DC standards. Now we will go on in November to try to keep all state wide positions Democrat free. No Democrat has won a state wide race in more than a decade.
