‘This Is a Paper Tiger’: Issa Slams Obama on Syria Plan
The Obama administration is claiming that the threat of United States military action in Syria is what caused Russia and Syria to make way for a diplomatic option.
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), chairman of the House Oversight Committee, and Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), a member of that committee, joined Hannity last night . Issa criticized the administration for not having a plan.

“They’re grasping for straws. […] The time to have Putin on board was when [Obama] drew his red line in the sand, or certainly before he came to Congress.”

Chaffetz blamed President Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for not dealing with Syria in the past two years. “They were trying to convince everybody that everything’s fine. […] It’s not. It’s a violent world and there are people out there that hate Americans and want to kill Americans, and we have to deal with that.”

“This is a paper tiger,” Issa said.

He went on to slam the president for ordering drone strikes around the world without Congress’s authorization. Meanwhile, there are 6.5 million Syrian refugees and more than 100,000 Syrians who were killed by conventional weapons. Issa questioned the purpose of a “slap on the hand” military strike, saying, “so that [Assad would] go back and kill another 100,000 with conventional weapons?”

Wild Thing’s comment.……………
What a difference in how G>W.Bush did things and how the vile Obama does them. Obama thinks he can be a dictator and so why do anything the way it should be done or even not done.
I really believe the only reason Obama wanted to do this Syria thing was to get the pressure off him for Benghazi etc.

TomR,armed in Texas says:

Through this entire situation starting one year ago in Benghazi the MSM has covered obama’s bungling ass by being sure the attention goes elsewhere. Or, by praising obama’s errors as great political strategy. The MSM is a very powerful force in society and abuses the trust of society by showing unfettered bias and favoritism.
