First, the story from FNC’s Mike Emanuel:
Several well-placed Capitol Hill sources tell me President Obama is expected to nominate John Brennan to be the next Director of the CIA.
I am told it could happen as early as to tomorrow.
Prior to serving as President Obama’s Counterterrorism and Homeland Security Advisor at the White House, Brennan spent about 25 years at the Central Intelligence Agency. So it is believed he knows the place very well.
