A group of Republican women held a press conference today on the ObamaTax law. The women called for a complete repeal of the unpopular Democrat law. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rogers (R-WA) said Obamacare is the “largest tax in America’s history.”
The group included Rep. Nan Hayworth (R-NY – an ophthalmologist), Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle (R-NY), Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC – a nurse) and Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA).
The Obamacare law contains 20 new hidden taxes on the American people. 75% of Obamacare costs will fall on the backs of those Americans making less than $120,000 a year.
Wild Thing’s comment………..
Disgusting how this is has happened. After waiting over 2 years for the Court to rule on this and now we are stuck with it unless we get a majority in both Houses and Romney is elected….then there is some hope it can be repealed.
It would help the cause significantly if we heard more from these exceptional women with medical backgrounds who serve in Congress.
This bright and lucid commentary from women bring oftentimes more credence, familiarity and understanding then many men in Congress can.
It’s been written that John Roberts as Chief Justice sought as guardian to preserve the stature and reputation of the institution of the Supreme Court.
He failed big time by effectively doing the opposite by not holding high the Constitution and the court, instead debasing, enjoining the high court in modern day politics and in taking to writing law itself.
Unlike the other two branches of government that remain muddled in process and politics, the Supreme Court had the unique opportunity to rise to the occasion at a momentous time, to distinguish itself with elevated decisive clarity, to do its duty with a firm reliance on providence, to act in conscript in only interpreting and protecting as well it should the Constitution that recites time and again the restraints of limited federal government.
The Supreme Court should have acted well grounded in the Constitution, with the same modernity that the practice of American medicine has achieved, and within the modern lives American lead today without further intervention by the federal government not licensed to do so within the Constitution.
John Roberts is a huge disappointment that failed miserably to see his moment in history to have risen above and to the call, but instead chose to immerse himself and the high court in the politics and degradation of this ruling in this disservice to the American people and the cause of liberty.
Well said Carlos!
Justice Roberts fell back on one of the most irritable aspects of law practice. He made a ruling based on a vague, ambiguous and questionable technicality. This is used by lawyers to negate moral and righteous arguements. This is what allows the scum of society to walk free and commit more crimes and injustices.
Thank you so much all of you.
