Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Arrives in New York

Iran leader arrives for New York showdown
Iran’s radical anti-American president arrives in New York today to face his western enemies in what is expected to be a fiery showdown over his country’s nuclear ambitions.
In his second trip to the land Teheran calls “the Great Satan” since he was elected in 2004, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is expected to come under heavy international pressure to halt key elements of Iran’s suspected nuclear weapons programme at the United Nations annual meeting.
Western powers are pressing for further security council action against the Iranian regime after its decision to ignore an Aug 31 deadline to halt uranium enrichment. advertisement
But as he met leaders of 118 “non-aligned” countries gathered in Cuba at the weekend, Mr Ahmadinejad, 50, challenged America’s right to nuclear weapons.
“Why should people live under the nuclear threat of the United States?'” he asked the so-called Anti-Bush summit, attended by countries including India, Pakistan, North Korea, China and South Africa. “What is the UN security council waiting for to react to those threats?” He went on to question American and British permanent membership of the 15-nation council.

Wild Thing’s comment……
Is this nuts or what!!??!! What’s the betting line that Carter wants first in line for a photo op and to shake his hand.
I can’t believe we are letting this hostage taking terrorist into our country and letting him bash us on our own soil. I can’t believe we let the pervious President in a week or so ago. He also came to bash America to the max. It is SICK how weak our leaders are that allow this shit to happen!
The UN needs to be burned down to the ground with all of them in it.

Billy says:

“What is the UN security council waiting for to react to those threats”!!!!!! THAT IS RICH !!!!!
Even the enemy is unhappy with the UN security council. ( Is it fair to categorize him as the enemy?) He should be sending them Christmas cards. What does the “United” part stand for in United Nations? Anybody???…I’ve got nothing…….
As for Ahmadinejad’s visit to NY, may he choke to death on a knish.
Billy

Wild Thing says:

Billy, hahaha…….”may he choke to death on a knish.”…….good one.

Jack says:

Shhh!!! Don’t tell the Muzzies, Bush secretly lives beneath the UN building, in the basement bunker next door to Cheney, where they are free from attack, together they both run the world from there. That clown in the Whitehouse is only a stunt double for television diversion.

TomR says:

I am getting more and more antsy for the 2008 elections. My hopes are that we will have a Conservative candidate that we can vote for with elation and expectations, a Patton type speaker. I am really tiring too rapidly with Bush’s non-leadership.
Bush is ass deep in pc. We thought he was tough, but he is not. He not only closes his eyes to immigration, buy he allows enemy leadership to orate on American soil and he puts his arm around crooks like Putin and Vincete Fox.

Jack says:

TomR I share your apprehension, What have they got? McCain!!! Pretty scary when that’s the caliber that the RNC seeks.

TomR says:

I am still hoping for someone in ’08 like Bolton or Tancredo. Maybe the Red Flyover Heartland States can battle the RNC mafia and get some non establishment owned candidates on the slate. The votes are there for a real Conservative, not a “loyal” Repub. I envision an Army of Reagan Democrats again mobbing the poles to vote for a real American individualist. My list of potential Conservatives includes many women as well as men. (No talk show gods on my list tho. Vanity and egotism are not good values in my book).
The ’06 votes in a few weeks are important. But, I kinda think ’08 is going to determine the survival of America as it grew to be in the 20th Century.

Wild Thing says:

Jack heh heh good one. ( whispering back at you) I will keep this under wraps.

Wild Thing says:

Me too Tom, by now I would like to see someone to start to get excited about 100%.

Rhod says:

I might be a contrarian, but this detestable little shit can’t say anything here he hasn’t said elsewhere. The credibility of the UN won’t be stained by a bad-toothed, Mike Wallace blown, Iranian monkey in a pink leisure suit; it simply adds to the slime on Turtle Bay, and with Iran already a UN member, Imafart is at least as legitimate as Asshole Arafart, who spoke there more than once. America is big enough and confident enough, even with the disease of Leftism, to host an Iranian scumbag who is roundly hated in his own country, and across the Arab Middle East.
Most things of importance are unseen. The UN is no longer taken seriously even by mostliberals, except for those like the hollow-headed Kerry, lefties like Suricou, and the red flag wheel-chair brigade…geriatric lefties of my generation who never got over Abraham, Martin and John. Their world ended in 1968, and they didn’t grow up, they grew sideways. They still think Peter Max was an importance artist, Peter, Paul and Mary are worth hearing, NPR is a listenable station, and WNET is balanced. It’s an advanced case of Bill Moyers Disease…the pathetic, end-of-life compulsion to hang onto a vanished prestige.
Imafart is here for one reason…to perpetuate a myth that no one actually believes, and one that horrifies Arabs…that Persian ambitions in the Middle East are rational and that they have the imprimatur of the UN. They don’t. The limitless indifference to evil of the UN is rooted in the UN bureaucracy’s need to have continued access to American luxury and girls without STD’s. Nothing more. They’ll do anything to seem serious, even have Imafart stinking up the place.

beth says:

A lot can (and probably will) happen between now and 2008. There will be a leader – I’m the eternal optimist.

beth says:

“may he choke to death on a knish.”
hehehehehe

Wild Thing says:

Beth I am so glad. I tend to be like that too, it is just this last year I have become kind of like show me now. haha
Thank you sweet friend.((hug))
