The Old Post Office Pavilion, truly known as the Old Post Office and Clock Tower, situated at 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. was finished in 1899, and is a contributing property to the Pennsylvania Avenue National Historic Site.
It was utilized as the city’s fundamental mail station until 1914. It worked fundamentally as an office fabricating a short time later, and was almost torn down amid the development of the Federal Triangle complex in the 1920s.
It was about destroyed again in the 1970s to clear a path for finish of the Federal Triangle. Significant remodels happened in 1976 and 1983.
