LAPD On High Alert After Gunmen Fire On Officers
Los Angeles Police have been on high alert after two individuals opened fire on a patrol car in an unprovoked attack.
Two officers from the 77th Division were responding to a call around 9:30 p.m. in the Vermont–Slauson neighborhood of South Los Angeles when two men opened fire on their patrol car. “Several rounds were shot in the direction of the officers,” LAPD Capt. Lillian Carranza said. “This was a completely unprovoked attack.”
According to KTLA, one of the officers was able to return fire but it was not clear if either of the suspects was hit. After an intense manhunt overnight that included over 60 officers from the LAPD and LA County Sheriffs, one man was detained and one weapon recovered although police are not releasing the info.
“The officers know to be aware of the environment and what is taking place nationwide,” said Carranza.
Wild Thing’s comment……….
These thugs threatening and shooting at police should be called terrorists.
Firing on cops is what we’re hearing. We’re not hearing how whites are being attacked and beaten. It looks like Obama, Holder, and Sharpton are going to get what they wanted…Race War.
