Obama Suggests Man making $36,000 a Year could Drop Cable, Cell Phones to Pay for ObamaCare
In an interview, Obama is read a letter from a man who makes $36,000 a year and says the cost of ObamaCare would be over $300 a month for him – which he said is too expensive.
On March 6, 2014, President Obama conducted a town hall meeting with Spanish-language media regarding the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as Obamacare. He was asked about the concerns of many Latinos that the law is simply too expensive. He suggested that some families may be spending too much on cable television or cell phones, and not enough on health insurance.
Obama’s response? “Just get rid of your cable and phone bills” to pay for it. Here’s exactly what he said:
“If you looked at that person’s budget, and you looked at their cable bill, their telephone, their cell phone bill. . . . it may turn out that, it’s just they haven’t prioritized health care.”

Wild Thing’s comment…………
