Democratic Colorado State Senator Jessie Ulaberri tells the Colorado Senate Judiciary Committee there are alternatives to guns for self defense, like ballpoint pens.
…”this time saying essentially we are better off if citizens don’t bear arms to protect themselves and others – just wait for a gunman to reload and then attack him with – a ballpoint pen!”

..this guy sounds like one of Rush Limbaugh’s “new castrati”. But then , the Sen. does not have to worry about being raped, I think. The University of Colorado is handing out guidelines for women who fear being raped. It includes such advise as : kick off your shoes, tell the assailant that you have an STD, induce vomiting to gross the rapist out etc. Women do not need guns for self defense!! What if a Republican had said any of this ?

I wish that guy who looked up this guy’s e-mail address had shared it in his blog. I am having
trouble finding it. I wanted to share a few things with him like: We are fed up with the hypocrisy of
our supposed to be intelligent politicians, like
Feinstein who introduced the current effort to disarm us, who exempts the legislators from abiding
under her bill, just as they exempted themselves from abiding by the Obamacare proffered health care plan because they knew it was most undesirable.
We are also fed up with the hypocrisy of a government that calls the same gun a defense weapon when the DHS orders thousands of them, but label the same gun an assault weapon when a citizen owns one. His remarks show a lack of well known history proving that as gun ownership goes up up the crime rate goes down. His stupidity is shown by not recognizing that all these shootings
occur in gun free zones – also by his not having heard of the allegation that Gifford’s shooting occurred as an accidental shooting in the staged
scene to anihilate the judge who was killed in that shooting.
The legislators who feel so strongly that We the People do not need guns for self defense, should first disarm all the guards/military that they depend on protecting their safety and themselves,
