I sincerely wish the yuletide spirit of Christmas of love to abide in your heart, hearth and home throughout this festive season and throughout the year.
Chrissie
The one Christmas Eve during my career that stays with me is 1977 at Norton AFB, CA. That night, it was 40 degrees outside and pouring rain. Me and another guy spent three hours on top of a C-141 changing an air conditioning pack because the plane had to leave in the morning. We were soaked and cold but we got it done.
My 6 Christmas celebrations in the Army were all memorable. Regardless of the circumstances I always ended up in the company of good people honoring the Birth of Christ.
God Bless those who are away this week serving America. Military and civilian.
