“It was 225 years ago today the Constitutional Convention opened in Philadelphia and our founders, citizens all, began crafting an extraordinary document. Yes, it had its flaws, flaws this nation has strived to protect over time. Questions of race and gender were unresolved. No women’s signature graced the original document.”
Wild Thing’s comment…………
Obama makes my blood boil !!!!!!!!!!!
What an A-Hole!
“…I will to the best of my ability preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
Those words are directly from the Constitution of the United States.
How can this man sworn to preserve, protect, and defend the constitution of the United States in its highest office fulfill his sworn duty when he himself continues to publicly define it as a fundamentally flawed document.
How could anyone doubt his sincerity ? /sarcasm.
What bothers me most is the audiences he continues to say these things are our young people and how he seeks to distance them from the very founding of our republic and it founders.
Here he is at yesterday’s commencement in graduation gown with his usual smug Benito Mussolini face at Barnard College, New York:

The basic intro to Con Law used to be that Americans have inalienable rights, indeed rights that the federal government cannot step on and the fact that the Constitution of the United States repeatedly states, “Congress shall make no law…” reaffirms the foundation of limited federal government over the several states and the people. Our modern academia from which this President comes have their own perversions they espouse.
We’ve never had a President who so persistently states how flawed the constitution is as he wishes to scrap the limits placed on government powers because they get in the way of the his huge and egregious redistributive economic schemes.
We have a President who in effect has rejected the Constitution.
It’s not a document with which to govern succeeding generations of Americans, to him the Constitution of the United States to which he swore to preserve, protect and defend is but vestigial and rudimentary, a lingering disappointment that hinders his causes.
Somehow he feels greater than Thomas Jefferson and James Madison.
The Constitution protects us from a tyrannical government. Only someone who wants to lead an eventual tyrannical government would speak the way he does, rife with collectivist thought tearing down everything that America is with his “fundamental change”, that somehow our prosperity as Americans has come from government from the top down, not by free individuals working from the bottom up.
To diminishing crowds, this President has repeated his shallow spineless collectivist rhetoric of mendacity for far too long and whose voice will soon fade out with little more than a whimper.
What he fails to see is that we are still proud American citizens, not mere inhabitants submitting to this President’s notion of victimhood, of being citizens of the world without any civic duty to our own country, without our very identity as Americans being lost to his mollycoddle, his muddle of multiculturalism, his materialism, his revisionist history, his rudderless pursuits and faithless aspirations -all for us to become serfs without liberty.
Unlike this administration that continues to create a huge false sense of entitlement in our young people, Americans have always seen a Constitution where the parameters of the federal government and its role in our lives are more easily and clearly defined and restrained. This is nothing new.
It was always as written long ago, limited government by charter as described by the father of our constitution James Madison in this gem from Federalist 45:
“The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the state governments are numerous and indefinite.”
The world may never again see the illustrious and distinguished gathering in Philadelphia of 56 noble God fearing men with such integrity and wisdom, but we can always read and learn from them.
It is a creed.
It’s ours, uniquely ours.
It is entirely American.
In governance, it is our essence.
Come November American resiliency will be tested once more as there is a solid 40% or more of voters that support him. The debate of our lifetime will have been won well grounded in this premise and that we are not a democracy, we are a constitutional republic. We must never forget that.
All victory is fleeting. The more conservative ascendency that begins in January 2013 must assert a new American Renaissance, we must simply define for ourselves and a watchful world just what it truly means to be an American.
We are Americans citizens, and we are indeed exceptional, but the vigil remains.
We are Americans so long as we remember these wise men and what they wrote:
As President, James Madison wrote with prescient wisdom,
“There are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by the gradual and silent encroachment of those in power, than by violent and sudden usurpation.”
This President who now occupies the same White House didn’t know James Madison.
Clearly, though, James Madison did know him.
To help forget the machinations of this awful mistake in American history, listen to Paul Harvey’s narrative on our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor:

obama hates The US Constitution. He uses the freedoms it provides to in turn attack it. He feels superior to The US Constitution. To obama, The US Constitution is a “ho” and he is Pimp Daddy. obama would prefer that sharia law replace The US Constitution. Benito Hussein obama is pure evil.
Carlos, thanks for the link on the Founding Fathers.
