Arrogant Obama Not Following Protocol Tried Pulling A Fast One To Do A Speech During The Time Set For GOP Debate

Jay Carney Asked If Timing Of Human Sewage Obama’s Joint Session Speech Might Upset Nancy Reagan

Carney grants NBC permission to reschedule debate….grants permission?????? WTH ~ Wild Thing
“I respectfully request the opportunity to address a joint session of Congress on Sept. 7, 2011 at 8 p.m.,” Obama wrote in a letter sent Wednesday to House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney says the timing of the speech is not aimed at overshadowing the next Republican debate, which is cosponsored by NBC News and Politico, and is scheduled to air at the same time as the planned presidential address.

“It is coincidental,” Carney said. “It is one debate of many [that will air] on one channel of many… [and] there are many other factors here” to consider when scheduling a major address from the president, he added.

Carney gave NBC his permission to reschedule the Republican debate so it doesn’t conflict with the president’s speech, saying “if the network so chose and the candidates so chose” to reschedule, “that would be completely fine with us.”

Wild Thing’s comment…..
Thursday is the start of the NFL season. Boehner invited Obama to give his speech a night no one be watching it.
LOL hahaha so rich !!!!
Jay Carney said, “It is coincidental.”
Please oh please you can do better then THAT lie. That is insulting to think anyone would believe that.
We keep seeing again and again the arrogance from Obama as well as his Carney jerk. It must be a something they have to have to qualify to be a democrat.

BobF says:

You can bet many of them congressmen are upset because they’ll miss opening kickoff.
The arrogance of this guy in that he wants to address a joint session of congress.

Sean says:

In his commentary, Rush hits all the points.
It is amazing that the Obama camp continues to believe that they are leading the Country, and that We the People, cannot wait to hear the next pearls of wisdom that come from the president’s mouth.
We the People are looking for action, plans that have some substance and workability. We are tired of listening to the same old rhetoric regarding, stimulus money, etc., being the answer. We are tired of listening to Campaign Speeches disguised, as the presentation of plans.
While the President and his advisors may think that they are on the right track, regarding the Economy, Jobs, etc., it is becoming more and more evident that the members of Congress are becoming less and less enchanted.

Wild Thing says:

Bob, your right, I bet they are really ticked off about this.

Wild Thing says:

Sean, beautifully said, thank you.
I am so tired of his campagining and he is addicted to it.
