Michael Spann was a paramilitary operations officer in the Central Intelligence Agency’s Special Activities Division. Spann was the first American killed in combat during the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan in 2001.

I’m really glad that in this war most of the American people actively support our troops. That makes a big difference to them both now and when they return home.
Tom, me too. The only areas I can think of that will be enemy terrority for our troops as they come home would be the Berkely area and a few places like that.
