Obama Has Defied His Constitutional Duty

Human Events
Congressman Steve King of Iowa’s 5th District is not the first person to say that President Obama has been violating the Constitution. This time, Obama has been not fulfilling his constitutional duty to protect the borders by allowing thousands upon thousands of illegal immigrants to pour across our borders.

“I have been in the business of embarrassing this administration in to enforcing immigration,” Rep. King said to me at the Virginia Tea Party Patriots Convention in Richmond, Virginia. The Congressman went on to say that the most important part of immigration reform is the new I.D.E.A. Act, which he introduced in this Congress, and will re-introduce in 2011.

Wild Thing’s comment……..
The way he explains his plan it seems like it might work and help.

TomR, armed in Texas says:

I sure like his idea of not allowing employers to take tax deductions on illegal employees. I have always thought that removing financial incentives would be a definite way help curb immigration.

Sean says:

On a related issue.
Drudge, today, highlights an article in the Washington Post, regarding a marauding gang of assassins, operating in Arizona. They have been sent by the Cartels to target those who are highjacking the drugs being transported in to this Country.
What is the Federal Govt. doing about this? Putting up Warning Signs and suing the State of Arizona. That about says it all, does it not?

Mark says:

They’ve been trying for years to get the employers to go along with this without much success. And that is because no one will enforce this law, or proposed law.

Wild Thing says:

Tom, me too it sounds like something that might work.

Wild Thing says:

Sean, thanks so much for that about what Drudge has.

Wild Thing says:

Mark, your right, so far the threat to employers has not worked very well. I watched the video twice and it seems it might be something written differently or something that might make a difference this time. I hope so anyway.
Like you said though unless laws are enforced it does not matter how many or what the laws are.
