Obama Message Booed At The Boy Scout National Jamboree 2010

Obama message booed at the boy scout national jamboree 2010

” Every president since bill clinton has made a speech at the national jamboree. Obama decided to skip this one at Fort AP Hill Virginia, for The View. All we got was a lousy recorded message.”

.

Wild Thing’s comment…….
There is hope for the future.
He stands for EVERYTHING those organizations oppose, so I don’t think there is any way for him to address them without the stink of hypocrisy on him. Stay away from our military and our Boy Scouts, in fact stay away from AMERICA obama freak we do not want you messing with our country one more second.
From a friend that was there:
“I was at the Jamboree last weekend. The estimates of the crowd size at the large event Saturday night were about 70,000 (although there were many leaders and family members there, so the phrase 35,000 scouts may be about right). There were audible boos from many places in the crowd when the President’s videotape message was introduced, although there was also some polite applause. It was far short of the whole crowd booing, but the reception was definitely very chilly. Visiting others in the Boy Scout community during the day leading up to the evening event, nearly everyone present was disgusted that the President would chose to attend a fundraiser in New York over celebrating the 100th anniversery of the Boy Scouts. They played the President’s message during the pre-show, when people were still gathering in the big arena, and not during the main 3 hour show. “

jan says:

SOOOOOOO proud of my son: he was there in the arena!!! He is due home today after a great 3 extra days of siteseeing with 150 other scouts from our area. Once I hear about the above I will let you know….SO PROUD!!!! Freedom of Speech Rocks!!! ;O)

TomR, armed in Texas says:

Several of my friends have boys and a girl in the scouting organizations. The parents are all conservatives. Hopefully some of these scouts will become leaders in America.

Sean says:

Read recently that Barry Sotero, is the first President to refuse to sign the official Eagle Scout declarations.
What an self-serving,self absorbed A-Hole.
Yet again I’m not sure I would want anything signed by that fraud. I sure as hell wouldn’t frame it, and put it on display.

Mark says:

Even a taped message is hypocrisy. The Schools Czar is gay, the new Supreme Court Justice is a lesbian. Its a good thing he stayed away. Would have made everything worse.

BobF says:

The Boy and Girl Scouts represent what America is all about. I wouldn’t expect Obama to be there because he’s about tearing down what this nation is about.

Wild Thing says:

Jan, oh WOW that is so fantastic, thank you for sharing about your son. The Boy Scouts are such a wonderful group and I was wondering how they would react to what Obama did.

Wild Thing says:

Tom, that is wonderful, I love to hear these things are still going strong like that. Thanks for sharing about your friends and their children.

Wild Thing says:

Sean, how horrible, he really hates everything American and he keeps proving it.
I agree with you too Sean, I would not want anything signed by him.

Wild Thing says:

Mark, yes his connection to anything, he brings his slimy ways and agenda with him.

Wild Thing says:

BobF., your so right, I bet he really feels uncomfortable too whenever he has to be around real America loving people. Like he can hardly wait to get back to his haters instead.

jan says:

Chrissie and All – we cannot WAIT till 9 EST. That is when the 4 contingent buses roll in…I have not heard from my scout since he left on 7/25. When they left FT AP Hill, VA on 8/4 breaking camp they went to: Kings Dominion, Jamestown Settlement, Baltimore Aquarium, Western Maryland Railroad and someplace else. I asked that he leave his cell phone home and just enjoy this adventure. He was fine with that, but boy do I miss hearing from him. He is almost 18 and went to the Jamboree back in 2005, so I was totally okay with him managing on his own. He is our youngest, and 3rd Eagle Scout. So, in a few short hours we will see him and I look forward to all the stories…This is such an awesome program!!!
