This is absolutly beautiful. Brought tears to my eyes.
There’s a market and a department store, close to where I live that hires special needs people. Observing them, I have to tell you, they work!They do the jobs assigned to them with enthusiasm and pleasure.
They have a sense of dignity and purpose, unlike some groups who are always looking for the next hand out.
It is amazing to see the reaction of shoppers. While some are obviously uncomfortable, (through their own ignorance), most are accepting and supportive of what is taking place.

Thanks for posting this. I can attest that most people are very positive, whether customers or employees.
When we lived in Ohio, Vienna, in Trumbull county, their is a School called Fairhaven, it is for the Special needs children of the county. It’s a non-profit organization and depends on bond levies to survive. They do great work there.
Every two years their Bond comes up for renewal, in all the time we lived their and that was 25 years. It didn’t matter what the economy was like, good, bad or bleeding, The Fairhaven levy always passed. School levies would go down in flames along with other non-sense levies but Fairhaven always made and usually by a large majority.
A lady I worked for did volunteer work for Fairhaven and had some over for lunch almost every day. She told me one time that their parents are very special, you see, God picks these parents himself, he wouldn’t allow his special children to be given to just anybody.
We voted for Fairhaven every time it came up and every time it passed.
Got a whole passel of them in my neck of the woods, most of them working as landscapers, mowing, trimming and sprucing up the residential and business areas. I have never met a single one without a positive outlook or an upbeat greeting, saw a crew of them working just before Christmas, out picking up limbs and debris from the big blow. Nothing short of excellence either. Thanks for sharing this wonderful productive person.
